I wasn't very impressed with the splash pad area at scissortail. What are the splash pads around that have bucket dumping and just better water play items, it was very boring and in the hot sun with no cover. My other gripe would have to be how close it is to the road especially if you have little kids that like to run off and the pavement is extremely hot. It works my family to help cool off but definitely not one of my favorite places. I did like the fact that they had some small tables to sit at and bench seating along the splash area for family. I would recommend putting some kind of shade cover...

Food trucks on site most days, see snow-cone cart often, snack bar available. Clean bathrooms, large family bathroom, huge play park for kids with climbing and balancing structures, a pretty pond with geese, tons of walking/biking paths around. 2$ per hr parking available in large lots right...
