Last weekend I was excited to go into this shop again. It's visually gorgeous, reminding me of a French patisserie, with a wonderful assortment of open-bin candies, delicious cupcakes and macarons, and my favorite teas from Pinky Up. It's a bit over-rpriced but normally I'd overlook this fact, however....unfortunately I probably will NOT be coming back. My cousin and her kids' choices rang up to $99.57, and when the cashier was handed a $100 bill, she stated that she could not "break a hundred." My cousin and I both explained we understood if she was actually breaking it into smaller bills, but she's not really breaking it since my cousin should only get back 43 cents, the same if she was being handed different denominations of bills to come up to $100. The cashier got really defensive and borderline rude, saying that was store policy and that she'd get fired if she accepted the $100 bill, stating the owners were "afraid of the technology but we could use a card if we didn't have smaller bills". This does NOT make sense, since using a card IS technology, and my cousin and I both stated as such. My cousin ended up using her card, and while it was processing the cashier just walked away saying she couldn't deal with us, so the employee behind her actually had to finish ringing us up. It was such an awkward situation and made us all feel really uncomfortable. I'll probably go elsewhere for my special sugary treats...

Read moreDO NOT support this business. Have you read the reviews below this one? Sad. Yes they will tow your car if you’re not a customer parked in their lot, and unlike the response they sent back to a review they received below, the MANAGEMENT CALLS the tow company. Oh and the unhappy employees? That must be because of the fake, non- communicative owners that do not respect their employees, hence the extremely fast turnover with them and not being able to keep a crew for more than 2 months. The cupcakes are stored behind the display on shelves uncovered and there is a shelf very low, Doubtfully even 6in from the ground that cupcakes sit on all day and night (again uncovered). The cupcakes are made with pre bought frosting then frozen, defrosted on the shelf uncovered then refrozen every night. Why the cupcakes are so dry!! The ice cream scoops and blenders are never washed just rinsed out after each use and set to dry on the sink/ counter and I have witnessed an employee set pull the ice cream from the freezer, then set the ice cream tubs on the floor to condense the contents. They also peel off ozarka water bottle labels and stick on their own to...
