Park Grounds — Restaurant in Oklahoma City

I almost gave this a 3, but the location saves this place. Located on the first floor of the Omni Hotel and directly East of Scissortail Park, Park Grounds is a nice option for coffee, breakfast, or lunch on the go. For a hotel coffee shop it is about what you would expect. It is pleasing to the eyes and the coffee is fine. Staff was friendly, food was okay, kinda what you expect from a coffee shop. However, I am an highly experienced barista and I have to say their stand-alone espresso was not very good. It was over-extracted so it tasted very bitter, even though you can tell the quality of their coffee beans is decent. Just took 7. 123456 seven employees 13 minutes to make an iced americano for me, as the only customer in the entire store. Made it with too few of shots of espresso per their answer when asked how many are in that size. Got the drink and it’s sweet? I’m not sure if it’s their grounds. I drink espresso and water 7 days a week. I’ve never had a sweet one given to me. Worst americano I’ve ever ordered. Will never return here. Had to throw the drink away after 3 sips. Too sweet....
