I have only ever left 3 bad reviews my entire 24yrs as an adult. But this hotel has been so disappointing, I truly feel like I'm being tricked, bc no 5star resort hotel would be this terrible. If you go to the MGM Signature website, they mention concierge service, including limo service, resort photographer, in-suite dining, room service - just to name a few. As an honest person, let me warn you all what that means: they'll call a vendor for the limo, they won't know about availability bc they don't employ that business. The photographer they suggest, is the one that photos the MGM's events and guests, not employed by the resort either. If you want to know if she's available, call her yourself they say. They boast in-suite dining, incase you think that means what most do, think again. It means, you can cook your food on the 2 stove-top, that's it. And NO ROOM SERVICE AT ALL. They still advertise they do have that online, but I've been told by every worker here, they don't do room service (I suggested they call their website designer and stop the false advertisements). MGM Grand DOES offer room service, as well as most things they advertise. though. We're told that's bc these "condos" are owned personally and The Signature just leases them. I'm not sure why that would matter, but no employee makes much sense here. I've asked for one odd simple requests (since they have not had anything I've asked about after seeing it online) and was balked at, as if I wasn't making sense. Here we go: I needed nail polish remover quickly. I asked the front desk if they had any to give me, was laughed at before told "I don't think I've seen that in any hotels". Ok, I never asked why it wasn't in my suite waiting on me. I asked bc ALOT of hotels have small quantities they keep, for special requests. I wasn't upset they didn't have it, that's why I asked, just incase. But when I then asked "is there a way to get a small capful from the spa (they offer manicures, surely they have it) and was told, you can go ask The MGM Grand. What?? You're sister companies, you share pools, events, rewards, credit cards, etc. Why do I have to go ask, isn't that was the front desk is for? I'm not too good to ask anyone for anything, HOWEVER if I pay for a hotel, BECAUSE they offer what I want, then they should live up to their advertising. What else? The in-suite dining, ONLY when requested, includes (2 of ea) plates, cups, tiny bowls, spoon, fork. And if you ask for additional, they have 1 pot, 1 pan. But wait....? What do i stir my stove food with? I suggest you get creative, bc we sure didn't receive spatulas, big utensils. But what do I store my food in before i cook it? The fridge only, because NO FREEZER SECTION is offered. That means no ice cream (in suite). Not one in the fridge, not one separate. Just no freezer option in this billion dollar MGM company's hotel. Guess what else? Are you looking to book for the great deluxe balcony suite with a view!?!?! Bring your chairs from home, such a great idea!! Bc there is nothing to sit on out here. So stand, enjoy the view, but don't get comfy. That's not allowed apparently. I do have a great compliment though, the shower head will not hurt you, if that's what you were worried about. Bc it seems to be a incredible high-end version of 1996's, Motel 6 single-head luxury that we all miss. So there's that, you guys enjoy!!! Ladies, I feel I can't forget to tell you that the "back-lit vanity" they also boast about, is just the bathroom mirror or some bar mirror (to be fair, THEY put their ice bucket there). So when preparing for YOUR big night out, be sure to prep for the awkward bend at the bathroom counter, that allows us to see our eyes as we get ready. Super fun...😒 Not to mention, maybe inform the guests of your hotel that you'll chain-off the valet-uber drop off section after 8pm, so they know to prepare to walk in rain when leaving for their anniversary date-night. I mean, I would've liked to know, but maybe I expect these kinds of hotels to have standards.

Read moreKeep in mind that my stay was during June 21st-24th of 2020. A pandemic is not the best case scenario for any business, but we booked our stay here to relax by the pool and get friends together from different states. I considered many factors before deciding on 3 stars, but please believe this was a generous rating. First, we booked our stay at the mgm signature for the kitchen and to have access to the lazy River. That was literally all we focused on. We wanted to be able to cook most of our meals to avoid eating at the restaurants as much as possible given the current pandemic. Upon arrival, I knew I had to request kitchen appliances. They say so online. So I asked for the necessary kitchen appliances and table settings for 4. I expected a toaster and real plates and utensils. We got all plastic and only enough to eat once. Only small plastic cups that were big enough for about 4 to 6 ounces. We had to wash plastic plates you throw away and there were only salt and pepper packets with the plastic utensils! I didn't expect a whole pantry of spices, but not even pepper or salt. The rest of the hotel room was nice. There were extra sheets and one pillow for the pull out, so I called the desk for a blanket at 11:45am. We had to call again at 2pm. Then again at 11pm. We finally received a blanket by midnight! That was beyond annoying. They were terribly understaffed. We considered the current situation, but please don't remind guest at every available opportunity as an excuse like taking 12 hrs to bring a blanket. There were 3 staff members sitting at the pool towel stand for the 3 hrs I was tanning. They were talking and waiting for folks to ask for assistance that could have been handled by 1 or 2. The desk was managed by a young lady that must've had a bad week. She was neither welcoming nor smiling at any point of check in. The most helpful and polite individual was the plumber/electrician. Our kitchen sink was clogged and a horrendous smell of fish came out of the sink. The garbage disposal was not working. They sent up a few folks to our room until the right man was called. I assume some sort of relevance status. Either way, he had it fixed and smelling much better by the evening. Lastly, we booked at this location because of the lazy river. I remember the lazy being open all week. Due to the virus, they decided to only open during the weekend nights. We came from Sunday to Wednesday. This would have been more understandable if they had not had the large pool still open. There aren't any shows going on, so other than gambling there is litterally nothing else to do but swim. They should be offering the few guests that are visiting every comfort available to them.
Overall, for 3 nights, I was not impressed by any stretch. I would not recommend this hotel unless you are here strictly for business. The rooms were spacious and deffinetly satisfactory for a single night stay. Other than a fishy sink, it was very clean. The pool by tower 2 was clean and...
