Im giving this place a one star and a bad review ........ As a consumer and as an applicant for a vacant sales position.
I was invited to apply for a sales position at this antique store, based on my resume. My appointment was at 230 pm, but I arrived a bit earlier to give a good impression, when I arrived, I was being expected, so I waited for my interview.
I could hear the hiring manager or owner Kevin, talking and talking and talking....... it was 340pm and quickly I noticed a beautiful girl finish her interview with Kevin....... well i guess its my turn......
Suddenly ! It occurred to me, I was not gonna be given the chance or possibly the light of day for this sales position. I can only assume this beautiful girl had it in the bag or in other words got the job.
But ill give it my best, finally it was my turn, I was greated by Kevin and gave a firm hand shake, immediately right off the bat he starts telling me or better yet trying to discourage me and he explains, " we can postpone the interview for another day, it's a bit late, if it's okay with you" and he also used this one, "the job only pays $8 an hour" WoW !....What era does this guy live.
Well, long story short, after minor details in talking, I politely thank Kevin and was very grateful for the opportunity but was going to pass on this one, her was extremely okay with this.
But in my thoughts, thinking about it this guy didn't offer an apology for making me wait or waist my time and he knew he had a 2:30 pm interview but didn't care.......
Overall, my point being is that if the owner/Kevin runs a place like he acts being an inconsiderate, careless non-polite MOFO, that's just waisting people's time.....I do not recommend this place, there's numerous stores in Pasadena where the consumer can be not a number, but a person,...
Read moreOmg! This place was AMAZING! Im going back to explore some more, didnt have time to look at every nook and crannie! I bought so little but happy with my purchases. I was looking at EVERY little thing, It was as though I was going back in time, so many variations of items, it was so exciting. I dont know if I'm over reacting or if I just haven't been to one in a long time but either way what I saw was phenomenal😀 And - Everyone asked if we needed help. We had to come back after our movie to finish looking, and Suzy was awesome in her assistance and so kind. I will definitely be back as I didnt finish looking at everything. As I thought I was done shopping, I was waiting for my friend and I stumbled upon the only 💟 shaped iron frying pan!😆 I had to get it, and so I did! Thank you-PASADENA...
Read moreI've been here twice and it's an awesome place to browse, especially if you're already walking around at the Paseo. Lots of interesting curios in here and I feel like you can come in here 100 times and you'll always find something new.
Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful, however, there were 3 young employees behind the counter (2 females, 1 male) who looked like they were in their 20s who were more interested in casual conversation amongst themselves (while cussing and using irreverent language in front of us and the other customers) than being attentive. Totally unprofessional, honestly.
Other than that, I really enjoy...
