They validate parking at the parking garage across the street ($3 for the first two hours, I think), so don't park at the garage underneath the rink (which is a flat fee of $15).
The public skates are crowded, really crowded, and the rink is relatively small (it's a full-size rink, but I think there are two standard "full-size" sizes for rinks—Olympic and hockey—and this is the smaller size).
That said, if you're 18+, and you're able to make the Lunch Bunch (currently, Wednesdays and Fridays, 11:15-12:45), there's almost nobody there, and the skaters who are there tend to be super respectful of each other. Not a lot of almost-collisions or collisions. Note: you won't see Lunch Bunch in the public skate sessions. If you go to the rink's DaySmart Recreation site's calendar, you can filter for Lunch Bunch, though.
The group lessons are a bit short (30 minutes), so it's hard to learn it all in the moment. You get free public skate time on the day of your lesson and an additional two free public skates (Lunch Bunch can count). I think the short lessons (30 minutes) is fairly standard for rinks, though.
Overall, a nice rink if you...
Read morei went a few days before christmas and it was pretty full with people of all ages, snotty toddlers, teen groups, etc etc. the line to enter to purchase tickets was outside but it took around 10 minutes for our turn so not bad!
❗️when going during holiday times or busy times in general be sure to not come with any valuable items as the lockers can all become used and have no choice but to leave your shoes and belongings on the floor❗️
the experience itself was not bad! other people who went to skate as well are pretty nice and patient, no pushing one another.
i parked in a parking garage where the parking is $1 for the first 2 hours (had to walk a bit to get the the rink) because best believe I was not gonna park in the garage the ice rink has for $15!
ice skating was a great experience, it had to end after a girl fell and couldn't get up, there was blood and everything, overall...

They act like they hate their job and they hate the customer , I was a regular customer over there for six months I go there every week . However I can't stand this rudeness attitude of the cashier, I stopped going there ever since two weeks ago. It's pretty much runs by knowledge-less young stuff. Instead of caring customer collecting money and giving a good service to customer the stuff in the front will only care they are own conversation. The supervisor was being a "manager" to talk to my friend and trying to embarrassing him . They stop me to knock on the managers door which was right next to the cashier room . I really don't think they know what is service mean to them . Some of the workers are kind of...
