Today (9/11/23) around 11:45am, I walked into “ At Home” in Pearland. Tx returning some items. I ask the kind attendant sorting the front entrance items where do I go for returns. She kindly pointed towards the cashier closest to the front entrance so I glanced around and observed there was no one else in line except the customer the cashier (Kimberly) was helping. Given I had very fragile bulk items to return, I kindly stood away from the customer and patiently waited for nearly 7 min near the automated handicap carts were stored. During, this time the cashier (Kimberly) never acknowledged nor says good morning, I’ll be right with you absolutely “nothing”. By this time, after 7 min, additional customers were in line waiting also further near the other empty cashier registers. Immediately after the cashier (Kimberly) finished the first customer, she looks at me and says “ you need to stand in line” which is totally unacceptable. I had to pause and stand there for a few minutes under total disbelief. I then shared I am in line and had been here for nearly 7 min and you saw me walk in and there was no one in line. She took immediate attitude and demonstrated total disrespect to me as a paying customers. The lady standing in line behind me was also appalled by the cashier rude behavior. The owners really need to hear how this cashier is mistreating their customers. Her behavior was unwarranted and unnecessary and could have been avoided had she shown some sign of kindness towards her customers. I do not expect any businesses to allow employees to treat customers in this ill manner fashion. Please help address this cashier hateful attitude towards your customers. To bring complete resolution to this unfair/unfortunate issue that shouldn’t have occurred I provided this cashier with 2 options; (1) respectively refund my money or (2) seek help by calling a manager because any other options were not viable. Of course by then, she proceeded to refund my money. After leaving the store, while still in the parking lot, I contacted the store and ask for a manager and reported this issue to him (I think his name was Wilson-unsure). Nonetheless, he stated he would follow up with the cashier to address this issue. At the end of the day, I just wanted to share my concerns with others to avoid any future reoccurrences with this rude cashier. Read moreI visited this location on yesterday and was very disappointed. The sale signs and pricing are very misleading. I went to the register with my purchases (one was a wreath & the other was was trash can). The wreath rang up regular price and the cashier asked the manager (Olivia) about the price who at the time was on a call. She did not show any concern for what the cashier was saying nor for the fact of me waiting to see how she was going to handle this. When she finished with her personal call. She asked me to come and show her where the wreaths were located. 1. You work her I know you know where they are. When we approached the aisle she immediately stated it does not go for this one, it goes for all others and walked away into the store and radioed to the cashier that was the correct price. With that being said I refused to purchase anything and won't be visiting either of your locations again.
