Overall, great EOS location right at the heart of Phoenix. I’ve been going here on the daily, it’s a pretty good deal with all the equipment and space you need to work every muscle group. I never really have to wait for equipment and I’ve worked out different times and days. Members here are pretty friendly and not intimidating, just don’t act foolish. I’ve seen them offer classes and group sessions, personally just been working out myself. The staff here are super phenomenal and will tend to your needs! They helped me with a parking situation one time, went above and beyond and that says something about the staff. Super helpful! There is parking validation for 3 hours with your membership which is helpful because downtown parking is something else. Parking is just a couple steps away in a garage and there’s always parking, consider when main events happen so parking limitations and traffic may occur. They do offer energy drinks that can be charged to your account if you need those, competitive prices. Towels are offered at this location which is great for a sweaty dude like me. I definitely recommend this place! Get the gainz!

My only problem is the Cleanliness its super drity and the members dont clean up after themselves. People workout with equipment and people don't put things back. The barbells are super warm out. Its super frustrating when u want to use a machine or rack and the members are sitting there taking selfies. The squat rack Filthy LOOK at the floor they've never even wiped it or swept it. I can't wait for 19th Avenue Baseline but I pray that the cleanliness is like planet fitness. Planet Fitness may lack on some of the equipment but the cleanliness is amazing and people are even cleaner. This location needs to get closed down its gone down hill. Some of the members are super rude as well as the trainers save your money there are better locations and gyms that offer the same prices and amenities trust me.

Be warned they don’t have a janitor so the bathrooms are rarely cleaned they are constantly out of towels every month my advice if you do have to come here bring a towel as a spare if I had a car I would easily go to another EŌS where they value their members keeping them open I will be looking for a new gym soon. They can send me to collections when that time comes because they make it a hassle to cancel the contract. The ladies have horrible attitudes in the night and one lady in the morning flirts with all of the guys especially her colleagues she’s young you won’t miss her because there might be a chance when you get there that no towels will be available since she can’t be bothered to do her job

unfortunately I find myself at Google review, to make aware the ongoing string of events of my interaction with a manager named AMANDA

at theEOS Lindsey and University location. If this were a one off, we wouldn't be here. But now that I've come to the end of my day, and reflect on what I've just experienced, it hits me as my 3rd and final Utter disrespectful, Negative Dismissive, borderline Harassment experience Ive encountered, as this Manager, Tracked Me, Ensued Me, Followed Me, All the way outside the doors of the gym today, to the entrance of my vehicle, In which she muttered choice words at me as I entered my Vehicle, and if there's any question as to the Validity there were " Zero" words with her to cause this. As mentioned in my email today to whoever it took to shed light on this Total lack of consumer Respect, Hell, for that matter, simple human decency or "RESPECT" for ones "PERSONAL SPACE"

but no seriously, I had to reflect on the WHY???? What was all this stemming from?? there had to be more to it? was I rude somewhere??? if so, check yourself daily to be a better person than you were the day before!!! Then it hit me!!!

" The AWKWARD SILENCE" yes, for those of you too young there's an episode on Jerry Seinfeld called The awkward silence.. this is when there's this silence that goes toooo far, where no one says a word, to where its totally weird!

So, Yessss Ms. Amanda I do remember the " AWKWARD Silence"

Soooo Google, maybe im crazy but im glad for your input..

One Day Im the guy in the gym, never takes his headphones off no eye contact, so no lady feels like the place is a total MeatMarket, I feel an Odd energy behind me as im into minute 40 treadmill?? I notice Manager Amanda disappear behind me into the EMPLOYEE area, I've no idea what's back there, don't care, but I am aware enough of my surroundings to notice only employees have entered that door. then I see another lady disappear behind me, yes I could care less, yet still perceptive, until finally I feel the energy of the door open enough to see the two ladies emerge from the door holding hands, walking arm and arm, looking me dead in my eyes, sure no big Deal, UNTIL the AWKWARD SILENCE, I glance away then look behind me, to find they're still DEADLOCKED in my eyes, by this time it was Totally WEIRD, Im like OOOOKAY SOOOO YOU GUYS ARE A COUPLE??? HAPPY HAPPY JOY JOY... I see it every day, then Comes the TOTALLY AWKWARD.... THEY LOCK LIPS!! im like WTH was that all about? and why are they looking at me as if I could are less??? Then Amanda proceeded back to her post at the front desk.. I simply made sure whatever it was? I wanted no parts of it?

so now I replay every encounter with Amanda as her words so eloquently, stated one day I asked if I could borrow the Stretch bands, her response was " I DONT FEEL COMFORTABLE GIVING YOU MY BANDS" I was like OOOOOKAY??? THANK YOU HAVE A NICE DAY, then from that point I made it my efforts to stay away from her presence, even sooo much to, if I pulled up to the gym for a workout, and saw her working, id get back in my car and drive to the other location, just to avoid any communication, or unnecessary contact with her!!! Until today???? even today I did not address her!!! until I was chased down at the door of my vehicle???? So here I am???? Bad energy at the place I pay money to go to for stress relief, only to be chased by a manager that doesn't understand that Power is to be used as a building tool, not only as a weapon! Prime example of giving power to the wrong PERSON or too soon, how it's misused, or even WIELD at the people it's meant to help or protect! SMH

Thank You and Enjoy Your Journey wherever...

My experience at this EOS gym would have been okay if it we're not for Sienna being rude and disrespectful and belittling me and my guest.

When we arrive to the gym and we checked in Sienna westshore to let us know that at this gym the Black level card does not allow you to bring a guest and only allows you to bring yourself. So she said "this time it wouldn't be no thing" but you wouldn't be able to do that next time.

I said okay thanks and started walking towards the gym then I turned around and asked what other kinds of memberships are there? She said maybe your black card is the highest level at the gym you signed up at but at this gym it's the lowest level. The other person who was at the front desk was Melanie hopefully she doesn't conveniently for that Sienna said that.q

Once I was done in the gym I learned that my guests had asked about the cleaning lady because he had to go to the bathroom really bad and Sienna told him that they have priority meaning the cleaning people. She did not try to accommodate or anything like that just said that in a rude tone.

And then when my guests reminded her that he is a member / customer just to say this is not how you treat customers she said that he is technically not a member and went on to discuss the details that she saw in his membership once he had checked into the gym. Which was also belittling and disrespectful.

Once I got out of the gym and I was relaxing in the hydro massage chair I saw Sienna pass me up go outside to the window on her phone and she was staring at me through the window while I was in the hydro massage chair which made me feel very uncomfortable and I made a video of it. I did not know who she was on the phone with but I felt that it was very rude for her to just sit there staring at me while she was on her phone.

After I was done with the massage chair I went to the desk because I write reviews about the places that I go to.

My guests had already been there and he had talked to Sienna and told her that he would be talking to the manager and I did not know that yet I did learn that she had followed my guests out of the gym. I promised myself that if I saw her following us I will call the police but I did not see her once I got outside the gym.

Just before that when I was at the counter with Melanie and Sienna got back from following my guest I asked her for a piece of paper and a pen so I can write down my number so the manager could call me right away. She said he already has it documented in the notes. So I said that's fine just please give him my number and she said I cannot give out any numbers and I just said I'm asking you to give him my number and call me.

The manager has not called me yet. My guest and I simply went to enjoy the gym. We did not need all of this unnecessary harassment. Not to mention as if anyone was doing anything and we were not this is very rude and...

I gave this location a few chances on different occasions over the course of the past 3 years, and even though management has assured me things have changed, they haven't.

The gym is unsanitary. I'm primarily a part of the opening crowd at 4am. For me to be the first person in the showers for the day and still see the pubic hair plastered to the wall from days before is disgusting. There is always a dangerous layer of slippery soap grime on the floor that makes showers an adventure if you're not looking to have a slip and fall accident. The paper towel dispensers/sanitary sprays are either broken or empty, so people have no incentive to wipe down the machines after use. I brought these issues to the employees attention, and nothing has changed.

There's no way to tell time. I forgot my phone at home one time, which isn't a problem for me to be without. Except I don't wear a watch and this gym doesn't have any time keeping tools. No clocks, no timers, no TV screens with the time. Asking other members over and over what time would be intrusive to their mental zone. For example, I once got my hair stuck in a pulley on a machine. I shouted and waved my limbs around like a mad person to get someone to help untangle my hair. Several members walked past me with blinders on and ignored me. took 5 minutes of kicking and waving for someone to finally notice me and that I needed help.

Over the course of 3 years, I've given this gym several chances for things to change. I've renewed my membership just for the sake of convenience of the location for me. This morning, however, Eos Downtown fell back into old patterns that made me cancel my membership the last time. As I approached the building this morning, the gym members were crowded outside the entrance because the staff isn't reliable enough to open the doors on time. Usually it was 15-20 minutes in the past, sometimes a half hour or 45 mins. After the wait times exceeded what would have been the entire duration of my workout, I finally cancelled my membership. When I re-enrolled, I voiced my concerns before I signed the paperwork. Management assured me that they have a new staff and these things are unacceptable and won't happen here. It did. Of course it did. This time around, there's fortunately another Eos close enough to get in a bit of exercise before work, so I went there (Central and Thomas location) and had an experience that met my expectations for a gym. Someone was even polite enough to share a machine I was waiting to use.

My overall impression of this gym is to save yourself the hassle. They gym is supposed to be a place where you can do good things for your body and feel good afterwards. This gym can't provide the basic needs in order to...
