SEPHORA — Attraction in Phoenix

Showed up to this Sephora and hour before they closed was greeted instantly when I walked in which was great I was looking for a specific new foundation that I was excited to try was waiting around looking for someone to help me and saw 3 of them talking amongst themselves tried to get there attention and was ignored when another customer walked to the same place I was they instantly walked over to her to help her I kinda of just stood there waiting for her to finish helping the other customer cause you know I didn’t want to be rude when she finished helping the other customer she turned around and started walking away which I thought was rude bc it’s common Curtesy to also ask anyone nearby if they need help especially if I was standing right there literally next to them waiting to be helped anyways had call for her attention twice which kind of made me feel like she ignored me the first time but idk I asked her if hey had a specific shade then asked if I could get color matched to be sure she just started looking for the shade without really responding to me she then got up and said they didn’t have the shade and walked away to which I thought oh she’s going to get the device so I stayed where I was at just browsing after 10 minutes I saw she was back to the group of coworkers talking to which I took as a sign she didn’t want to help me so proceeded to look at other brands and color match the old fashion way (bad idea )my sister walks up to me showing me what she’s gunna get as I’m telling her what I’m planing on purchasing she sees I’m trying to color match myself and tells me why I don’t ask one of the Sephora workers to help I tell her what happened and she’s like well let’s ask another one we see a male worker helping another customer in the aisle and I try asking him ( once he’s done helping the other customer of course ) and just walks away from us I kinda took this as a sign they didn’t want us there which is weird bc we always go to this location in the mornings and I always get amazing service in the mornings so when we went afternoon it was such a shock for me that the employees where being so rude and dismissive when I was needing help especially since there was so many of them just Standing around talking to each other let’s just say we took the hint and left without purchasing anything which is such a shame bc this WAS...

I stopped in hoping to get great service as the yelp reviews implied, instead I got a barely there smile from the gentlemen in front of the store and ignored through the rest even though I walked throughout the whole store. I noticed a display of palettes that I had missed when I walked in and meandered over in that direction. 2 managers followed me over and one handed me a basket and said here's a basket and nothing else. I guess the store director thought I was going to go around the corner because she jerked her head to the other girl as if to say follow me. I happened to see her. It's incredibly insulting to be thought of as a thief and treated as such especially so blatantly. If your concerned about me stealing then why don't you offer me client service instead of ignoring me? The cashier was excellent and tried to really change my irritation and I appreciate that but the damage was done. Another lead was behind the counter and heard my complaints and said nothing.
