Edit: it was also not looked at because we watch you rent it out to another group and watched them get in and drive off. Do be honest at the bare minimum because your response isnāt honest in the slightest.
my father in law drove the second vehicle told the mechanic what the issue was, and received a āok weāll seeā as the response from Travis I believe is the name whom he spoke to. My mother in law took video of said actions and noises but because the video is so long the file is too large to upload.
We made 1 stop for 45 minutes at the sink. Your stag told us it would take 1 hr 29 mutes to get there and back. We trusted your staff, our fault we didnāt expected them to be truthful and honest. We stopped once one the side of the road when we called your office and informed you of the mechanical issues. Where you all told us to just drive it back it was fine. The only other stop was made at Caseyās gas station to fill up. All which can be proven with a Timelapse video footage taken. 2hrs and 8 minutes is the video total, which was started when we turned the vehicle on to leave and off when we pulled in the parking lot. Was even left running while we were parked by accident but glad it was now.
Maybe take this vehicle and the tracking system to an outside mechanic before you cause someone to get hurt or hit by a car because it broke down.
NEVER AGAIN!!! Buy or save your own map before hand. Do NOT trust their directions!!! They are throttled way down peddle to the floor at 6k RMPs and youāre barely going 28mph.
There are other companies in town that are the same price or better with far better quality vehicles.
The absolute worst experience ever. They set up us with a map, except for the map kept taking us a mile and telling us to make a U-turn. Then my father-in-laws vehicle wouldnāt stay in gear anytime he went over 30mph. They kept asking him if it was in gear, when he told Travis (the mechanic) that yes it was in gear after being asked numerous times. He informed him that āsir Iām a mechanic Iām aware of if a vehicle is in gear or not. The problem was clearly the transmission dumping.ā He responded with āok weāll seeā.
Since leaving and getting back to where we are staying. Iāve been able to review the directions she saved. It took us well out of the way on the way back from the falls. She told us round trip it would take us 1hr 20minutes. Iām not sure what she was looking at because it took us just under and hour to get there. And then looking at the map directions on the way back it says another 1hr 30m. Yet I can goggle directs from our room on Sevierville to Sink falls at 140pm and it says straight shot is 53 minutes. And the drive back straight shot right now should take 41 minutes. The saved map says round trip currently is 2h and 21m. So check your GPS and donāt trust their times.
Edit to add: maybe your vehicle needs to be check by an outside 3rd party as well as your tracking. Because we actually only made 1 stop. We also did a long laps video record on the trip which shows only one stop. So Iād love to see where else it says we stopped. My father in law also drove the second vehicle and the passengers took a video of the vehicle making noise and having issues getting to speed.
You also told us when I called we were at max speed at one point. And we all laughed because at that point we were stopped on the side of the road.
So clearly telling the honest truth isnāt even something you all can do. So maybe that should also be looked into.
Clearly youāre not capable of telling the honest truth about what took place.
When I made my he reservation she told us 2 hrs was plenty of time to go to sink falls and back. Clearly that was not the case for us. Times given should be worst case busiest time of day. Not the time at the slowest time of day.
I would not recommend this company to anyone our experience was less...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThe availability of newer well maintained side by sides is nice. But the lack of an actual GPS unit on the sxs when they already have a GPS tracking system on the sxs is less than ideal for an out of state person. The customer service girl downloaded a map onto my Samsung for "incase we lose service anywhere", then gave us a laminated map with multicolored trails and routes. Great for if your a local, not so much of your a non resident. Our original plan was a nice scenic ride thru cades cove and some general sight seeing in the mountains. Well cades cove was closed for downed trees so we continued up the map to the gap / state line over look. While up there talking with other tourists we heard cades cove had opened back up. So, maps loaded, we headed back for cades cove, finally spotted a few bears in cades cove, took the scenic route and stopped at a rest area for a break since the temp light had come on in the sxs, having 1 myself I know that means give it a break and double check everything. All fluids were good, we headed back to the trail unknowingly GPS had diverted us to the right following the trails and other jeeps we just assumed that was the scenic route. Continued on and GPS takes us on a ohv trail, same path the jeeps were going so away we went.......this was a mistake. That "trail" did not bring us back to cades cove, but put us on the tail of the dragon....that's right, super bike heaven....aka side by side hell. My daughter loved the 100s of bikes that passed us like a motogp race and other girls, Ferraris and a Porsche....fiance by this point was not entertained. Fast forward 3 more hrs and 2 dead phones later, completely lost we stop a sheriff and got directions back to pigeon forge. Will most definitely not be back to this particular setting but will definitely take a guided tour with side by sides. ..
Long story short, good, quality, maintained machines. Average to higher than average prices but have your priced these sxs? That's why. Also should disclose in the pricing that there's a 500$ deductible on top of the rental price before you can leave and it will take 3-5 buisness days to get back. Definitely room for improvement by adding onboard GPS navigation to the side by sides. But it's not ride riders fault were not locals and both phones died. I do feel like it's on them that the onboard charging port would not charge a phone what so ever. Me an my daughter had a good time until the phones died, my fiance on the other hand was miserable after about 3 hrs, and we were all aware and to blame for it lol
The map was our twisty turvy tour of Tennessee although part was not recorded thanks to a...
