The Grove at Pismo Beach — Attraction in Pismo Beach

I thought I was getting a good deal because the price was good and the ratings were great. All I can say is you get what you pay for. Upon arrival, we couldn’t find the office because they’re using a room for an office. The room was clean, even though it was a little old fashioned, but when I looked closely, the bedsheets were stained. You can hear everything outside your door and the neighboring rooms. The small pool was filthy, and as you walk past the vending area, it looked like vending machines had not been wiped down in a long time. The ice maker was disgusting. There’s no house keeping at night so if you’re cold and need an extra blanket, you can forget about it. At one point, I was worried for the receptionist guy, I thought he was going to get beat up...

Been coming to this hotel every year for the past 8 years. We love staying here the rooms get the job done and the location is nice. I especially love getting a room in the back and looking out at the lit up mountains at night. My kids and everyone else including others I have talked to who stay here LOVE the hot tub with the WATERFALL. Unfortunately the waterfall is shutdown as of right now but id highly urge the owner/manager to get that situation figured out because that is one of if not the main attraction to this place. We will keep coming back though even if there is no waterfall...

Walls are paper thin. We could hear our neighbours coughing and talking all night. Had to call the office at 12am and ask them to deal with the people drinking and being noisy outside our room all night. Booked a room with free breakfast included but when I checked in I was told we don't have breakfast available at this time. Then to top it off, was charged an additional $12 after checking out. When I called to ask why, I was told it was a service fee that should have been charged at check in. Unacceptable to charge extra after we had left without mentioning it...
