GINA !!!!!! Is a major issue at this store. LANDON is amazing!!!
He cashed me out for some shoes that were located in the wrong location, and so when I read the number on the bottom, assumed they were not women's, I walked outside saw they was women's and than went to exchange them.
GINA, WHO WAS IN CHARGE THAT DAY, informed me even tho it wasn't even 10 mins prior, and I didn't leave the property. visually showed her the pending receipt and transaction on my phone ๐ฑ wouldn't allow me to exchange or offer any bit of help/ aid what so ever, so when. Asked for to speak to the lady above her, she wouldn't allow me. Wouldn't offer her name or how to spell it, told me to figure it out !! . So, at this point, I am frustrated and told her I was gonna record the altercation as I feel she is purposely not doing her job for what ever reason, as she even stated she wouldn't look up the transaction because she just doesnt want to , and didnt feel like it at that moment ... .which is why I started recording and verified her willingly not wanting to do her job correctly..... ๐ at that point, she grabbed the new shoes I was trying to buy and told me to leave the store !!!! ... all because she didn't want to do her job ๐ ..
I will be filing a report to corperate as well, and calling to speak to the mane store manager about this issue.
Aside from that LANDON, your great attitude, charisma, and respect is a blessing and shining a light thruout the whole store, considering how dull she made it , really shows the greatness you have. And you definitely deserve a raise and / or her position...
ย ย ย Read moreNice store as most of them are but the only reason I give it 3 stars instead of 5 is the annoying constant reminder updates ever 5 minutes that the store is closing, the store is closing,the store is closing once again the store is closing. Yes i understand how that works and I also know the closing time can you please just shut up. Its almost every store and I was at the danville store the last time and the lady on the intercom was so loud she actually frightened some of the elderly shoppers and shortly after I heard them making jokes that they had thought it was an evacuation call she was so loud. The time before that at the same store it was great. The lady on the intercom was not annoying and also didnt announce it every 5 minutes just once or twice as it was actually getting ready to close. That was so much better but a rarity. Im often at the stores later because I work so I experience this almost every time I choose to go and It has become one of my pet peeves. It just depends on who is working but it would be nice if goodwill would change their policy to a automatic message that isnt so annoying. Just as long as its better than the cvs and there "you NEED a vaccine and we can do multiple at one time" recording every 30 seconds when your on hold to talk to the pharmacy for 10 minutes. Thats another rant. I feel better now. I know someone else out there...
ย ย ย Read moreThis was a terrible experience! I am extremely disappointed in management of the store location. I was looking to purchase clothing and wished to try it on. As I was heading to the restroom- the only place to try anything on- the manager, who was not wearing work attire shouted from across the store that I could not enter with clothing.
I then proceeded to try on shirts on in the isle over my clothing. It was extremely embarrassing and demeaning. As a plus size person I felt singled out and the goodwill lost business as I could not try on items. The return policy is only for in store credit and I am from out of town. It was a very un-inclusive experience.
The manager then was speaking to who I assume was family in the store, seen hugging and helping another customer in line. When my friends approached check out she was busy speaking with another customer, then passive- aggressively asked my friends if we needed anything or why we were standing there. Again- in blue jean cut off shorts and a grey t-shirt while register attendants were in pants and blue store branded shirts.
As a manager myself customer service is a priority in operating a business. The attendant at the register was very apologetic and kind. I would be taking a hard look at the operating model and the leadership of this location. I will not be visiting nor recommending it to any that are...
