I just left Omni and I am extremely disappointed. I have been coming to the salon for over a year, while they have never been very friendly even though Iām there almost twice a month, I still leave every time very happy with the quality of the manicure.
I always get my nails shaped the same way, oval/round with dip and pay $40, I happily tip the technician $10 b/c I am always so pleased with their work.
Today I was with a new technician and I was charged $50 rather than the usual $40, when I questioned the charge he said my nails are almond shaped and thatās $10 more. In addition he did the manicure mostly with the drill, which is damaging and uncomfortable, and did not use a base coat which is completely different than any other technician Iāve seen there.
My nails are round and I disagreed, that this was not almond and I have had my nails shaped the same way every time and always been charged $40. The owner was brought over and said that they looked almond to her and let him proceed with the charge.
The owner has done my nails this shape in the past and also charged me $40, which I pointed out to her and my opinion was dismissed and she treated me like I did not matter as a customer.
It should have been modified to the $40 charge, charging $10 for a shape is ridiculous to begin with, let alone a shape I didnāt even receive. I am so incredibly disappointed with the way that I was treated today after being a loyal customer for that past year.
I will not be returning and highly recommend others to find another salon. I cannot believe a business can treat their returning customers like this. Please see my the manicure below, almond shape is pointed,...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreVery bad experience, I didnāt know if I ever go backā¦.. I went to Omni a few times, I usually go to see Betty but sometimes sheās not available. One time I went to see tech āXā and she destroyed my nail plate, I had to grow them for several weeks before I could do a dip powder to my nails again. Then after a few weeks I went to see another tech (Betty wasnāt available again) The tech āYā seemed to rush, it took her 29 minutes to do my pedi and dip powder. She was rushing, painting my nails while standing. She asked me 4 times if I have her Venmo. When I asked her to shape my nails square she said they are too short. When I asked her if she can please take care of my feet, she only painted toes, because she said I have āticklesā which is not a truth. Then two days ago I scheduled an appointment with Betty, when I got there, she had another customer starting, I was like what is going on with this salon? Another tech āZā took care of me. She was also quick. I felt that the nails look thick and heavy so I politely I asked her if she could please make them tinned because they are āheavy on my fingersā she said āyeahā but she didnāt do it. Today my nails look like SNOW SHOVEL, my fingers hurt and I have to spend another $50...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreMy first time and now last time at Omni Organics Nail Salon was anything but good. I booked an appointment for nail tips and a dip manicure. The website had the price at $60. When I was "checking out" they said the cost was $75. I immediately responded that the website said $60. They then proceeded to tell me that "almond shaped" nails were an extra $10. Seriously. I didn't ask for almond shape I asked for rounded. Never ever have I ever had to pay for a specific "Round" shape. That's just a bunch of nonsense. Then they said to charge me $65. I wasn't happy but I lived with it (which I shouldn't have had to.) My credit card was still charged $75. We contacted Omni and they basically said too bad. They made NO ATTEMPT to make it right. I will never go back and my daughter who has been going for 3+ years isn't going back. What a crooked way to do business. Don't trust them.
Here are images of both my nails and what āalmond shapedā nails look like. Again, I never asked for almond shape. I asked for round. My...
