The food was tasty, but the service is still not what it should be. At lunchtime on Thursday (4-25-2024) they were out of brown rice, so I had to accept white rice, but before I got to the register, another worker brought a new batch of brown rice. Why did the server tell me that they wouldn't have brown rice for the rest of the day when we only needed to wait 30-seconds for the brown rice to be available? AND, why are they having food availability issues during the busiest part of the day? It looks like bad management because they don't plan for timely refilling of food items. The second issue was when I ordered double chicken. The server didn't seem to like that idea, so what he served was 1.5 scoops of chicken instead of double chicken. Yet they charged for double chicken. So what appears to be happening is that the workers are doing whatever they want, including being busy talking to each other rather than paying attention to the customers, and they're not paying attention to refilling the brown rice when the amount of brown rice in the metal bin gets low. I've worked in restaurants before; it's not difficult to do things right; so there are no excuses that can explain the lousy service. The solution is to NOT go to this restaurant. Customers should look at going to other eateries, and should avoid this...
Read moreI would never come back to this location again. I witnessed the most devious thing I ever saw from a Manager. The manager should be TERMINATED( Female manager , I would say she’s Indian)…A young pregnant lady ask can they make her food over since she is allergic to corn and onions and the manager was not having it. The crazy thing is that the food wasn’t even touched and she still declined to make it over. The employees and other paying customers even offered to pay for her food but she didn’t want them too, she just wanted her food made the right way. I worked in the restaurant business for a while and I know our #1 rule is to greet when you enter in the store and to accommodate the customer needs, so they can leave with a happy face and surly will return in the future. And that is not what I witnessed at all. The young lady even gave out an extra $30 for the people that was trying to help her out. I feel sorry for her and hope things like this never happens again. THAT MANAGER NEEDS TO BE TERMINATED! It was a Female Indian Manager, sorry I couldn’t get her name , but I know what she looks like.I wish I could give...
Read moreIf I could give zero stars I would. I went to Chipotle in Plymouth Meeting at 7:40pm. The hours listed are open until 10pm. I ordered a salad and then when I asked for the dressing to go with it, the woman at the register told me that I needed to request sides before getting to the register. I'm not sure if salad dressing to go with a salad you offer is a side but I apologized. She then proceeded to tell me they didn't have any. The customer behind me was shocked and so was I. I asked if they didn't have any, could they please make some because I just paid for a salad that now doesn't have dressing to go with it. The employee at the register told another employee "she wasn't making any". I've been coming to this chipotle for years and never experienced such poor customer service. If your store is open until 10pm, I don't think expecting to have all of the ingredient in your meal is to much to ask for. Very disappointing. None of the employees had badges with names except on my receipt Sade was listed as working on...
