I stopped by during a Sunday afternoon bike ride and ordered a medium brewed coffee and a brownie. Unfortunately, the coffee was served lukewarm. After taking a sip, I asked if it could be warmed up in a microwave, mentioning it was barely warm. The staff member told me there was no microwave and that nothing could be done.

When I expressed that this wasn’t acceptable, she took the cup and topped it off with more of the same coffee, saying she had “freshened it up.” I was surprised and asked if she really believed adding more of the same lukewarm coffee would make a difference.

Rather than offering a solution, such as brewing a fresh pot—even if it would take five minutes—I felt I was met with excuses. Unfortunately, this experience left a poor impression, and I won’t be returning. The pricey brownie was just a simple cake brownie with...

First and foremost, Port Washington deserves a fine music store. And Lakeside is just that! I purchased a $170 Dean acoustic there that plays better than my $500 Alvarez. I traded in an American made Strat for store credit to get essentials I needed, along with some cash I paid. Owner (sorry, I forgot your name...) completely revitalized my most cherished guitar after it suffered a neck injury. If you have kids and want to introduce them to music, this is a must stop shop.
