I have never been treated with worse hospitality in my life. My friends and I attempted to dine here last night before a show at Keller Auditorium. We had 5:30 reservations with a 7:00 curtain. Plenty of time we thought to dine and walk the 6ish blocks. We were given our drinks in a reasonable time frame and told that they would be right back with us to get our food order. About 25 minutes passed before our server returned. The tester ain’t was not particularly busy, maybe 4 other parties. At this point we had about 45 minutes to order, eat and pay. Since so much time had passed before our order was taken we were upfront with our server that time was tight and inquired if that would be a problem. Our server said the kitchen was only 20 minutes out and we should be ok so we ordered. About 40 more minutes passed again and we knew things were not going to work out. We asked the server about our order and he responded that he would check in on it. He returned to let us know they were waiting on a couple of items but it was almost ready. We asked if he could bring boxes with our order and our check as at this point we had to start walking to the theater. He returned with one item from our order and a machine for us to pay our bill with on our own. At this point he disappeared and the machine to pay with was on a lock screen that needed a password to operate. Being that we did not want to dine(although no actual food was served) and dash we left cash on the table for our entire order and left. We enjoyed the show, albeit hungry, and returned as one of our friends had parked in the vicinity. I walked back into the bar and explained this the situation politely to the bartender hoping for some sort of understanding that we were mistreated by the waitstaff earlier in the shift. A smug look and a “what do you want me to do about it” response later I asked if there was a manager I could discuss this with. I was told to come back tomorrow. Now I am not the type to write these reviews or ask to talk to the manager. I work in the service world and realize things are going to go wrong. Never in my life have I felt so abused as a consumer. I have stayed at other stay pineapple affiliated hotels and dined at their establishments....
Read moreBy far the worst customer service experience. We made a reservation ahead of time and when we arrived let the waiter know. He did not seat us or ask for our name. No one acknowledged we were even there. We had to go to the front desk of the hotel to ask who to ask to be seated. We patiently waited and asked how to get a table, one employee said it was self seating. We sat down and a female waitress with seafoam green hair came over to our table and asked us to move. She said that the table was reserved for another party, although there was no sign saying reserved. We got up and told her we had a reservation at 5:00pm for the same number of people as the table would seat and she said we'd have to wait. She never asked for our name on the reservation. We waited for about 20 minutes until she said the party (no one else was waiting for a table) would no longer need the table then she seated us. Both waiters at the restaurant were inattentive and the waitress with the seafoam green hair seemed to be prejudice or racist against us considering the rude attitude she had and how she treated us. They seem to only treat certain customers well and others as if they wished they'd leave. Even after we were seated it took another 20-30 minutes until she served water at our table and to get our order for food. We ended up leaving before trying the food as we did not feel comfortable at...
Read moreSuch potential. The decorations were cute, the online menu looked good and drinks sounded refreshing. I started with a moscow mule, which was noted online to be made with actual ginger but instead used a ginger beer that made it taste like a soda. My friend ordered the French 75, which didn't taste like it had any alchohol in it (I don't know if thats a good or bad thing). The wait staff was slow to take orders, bring drinks and the final check, but were friendly when they finally came around. We also got the wings. First the sweet chili, which were sticky and delicious, then the sriracha lime, which didn't taste like anything but fire and didn't come with any other option to cool your mouth (something that spicy should include a dip or veggie to give your mouth a break). I'm not normally a weeny with spice, so I feel like they missed the mark on these. Overall it wasn't a great experience, but it wasn't a terrible one either. I don't know that I'll be back for happy hour anytime soon and if I do, it would be for...
