I stopped by here during my first ever trip to Portland, early November 2022. It was a beautiful fall morning with the sun out. Even on a cloudy or rainy day, I think this park is worth visiting.
Someone had told me that Portland had a history with bridges. I don’t know what that history is, but when I gazed upon this old drawbridge, it felt like such a Portland experience. It happened to be pictured on a magnet I had purchased the prior day.
I only saw a small part of this area, but it looks to be connected to other areas by walking paths.
