First time customer review. I love the variety of snacks they have and the Asian groceries needs like vegetables, but right when you walk in is the seafood section and you are blasted with the aroma of smelly seafood, not very inviting. But that can be the typical fishy smell you get in most Asian supermarkets. Also we didn’t realize it closes at 6:30 PM so they were closing down lights and it just felt like they wanted to push us out so they can shut down faster. When paying for our things it felt like they were reluctant to give us shopping bags even though you’re charged for it. I think my family read they don’t allow bags for just dry goods like snacks. Also the parking lot has little to no lights at the side of the market. We were literally in the dark putting our groceries in our car. It didn’t felt safe! Overall prices are reasonable, but I’d recommend going here once to see if you’ll like it. Or only go if that’s the only place you can find what you need. I’ll stick to 99 Ranch market which is right next to it whenever I’m in Quincy that feels more inviting with better parking lot lighting and the inside smells cleaner...
Read moreI’ve been a loyal customer of C Mart for a long time, but what I witnessed recently was unacceptable and raised serious concerns about their hygiene standards.
At the seafood section, a staff member was packing vegetables with the same gloves he used for handling raw fish, crab, and clams. Even worse, he was doing it right on the same counter and weighing area used for cutting and packing seafood. There was no glove change, no cleaning — just moving from raw seafood directly to produce.
This is extremely concerning, unhygienic, dirty, disgusting, especially since many people eat vegetables raw or only lightly rinse them. Cross-contamination from raw seafood can pose serious health risks. It's not just unpleasant — it’s dangerous.
I hope C Mart management takes immediate action to improve food handling practices and retrain their staff. Cleanliness and safety should be top priorities in any store that sells fresh food.

Read moreCMart, for all the chaos it contains, is a very clean supermarket with a wide variety of seafood, vegetables, snacks, and more. I typically go here when I can't find an item in one of the other Asian supermarkets, and I've found a lot of variety of various goods. They keep most of their sale items up front, but also have shelves in the back with a wide variety of goods. There is little to no English on the packaging, and if you do not understand Cantonese or Mandarin it may be hard to get around the place. However, there is English Names of the items on the shelves, so you are still able to find items.
I only knocked it down a star because when I went, I found an item I was looking for and it was past the expiration date by almost 2 years. I know some expiration dates are phony and don't mean much but I didn't...
