I love their system they have. I do my grocery shopping here with target now, b/c of this pandemic my kid and my infant can’t risk to go out if not needed. I would most definitely recommend to shop here. Oh though! The customer service aren’t to Friendly. I wanted to make a purchase at electronics, I need it someone to help me because I’ve never purchased this particular item. when I called to make sure that they did have it, ask some questions, they didn’t answer. I called front desk, a young girl answer. I ask questions, she say they don’t have any particular item. I ask why they didn’t answer and electronics? Her answer was “phone are not working”. Her tone of voice was not really professional and she was being rude, so I asked for her name. She end the call. I am a loyal customer here at target to be treated that way, it’s unacceptable. Of course I really needed this item so I had to go in person something I usually don’t do. Once I got there, I asked to speak to the manager and explain her the situation. This was a big sale for them, I just cannot believe this person didn’t care and was about to lose my business because of her being unprofessional and rude but I know there are other people in there that do know how to treat customers in for them I decided to make the purchase and continue being a customer with target, like the manager who helped me that day. To the person reading this whom is in charge to do better at this business. In this times of the pandemic, phones and online services must be working, this is now the only way we communicate the most. Thank you target and keep up the work to be better. See...
Read moreDo not go to this Target!! Too understaffed!!! I came in to get a knife sharpener (which the app said was in stock at Redwood City), but it took way too long.
I expected it to take 5 minutes, but it wasn't on the shelf. After looking closely at the correct aisle (then frantically 😅), I pressed a button in another aisle to talk to an employee, but no one came after 5 minutes. I then chased the first Target stocker I found. They took me to the same aisle and called someone after they couldn't find the OXO sharpener (or any knife sharpener. This took another 10 minutes until a staff member came. He said it was not unloaded from the truck yet and he couldn't get it for me (and that there are indeed financial/staffing issues there)
The sharpener was fine, but experiences like these sour people's days. All together, it was about an hour of my day wasted. GET BETTER STAFFING REDWOODS...

The packaging was damaged, but I was willing to pay for half of the regularly priced accessory. I was offered 20% off, which didn’t equate to the cost of the missing accessory. I was then told that he would just throw it away if I didn’t buy it. I let him know that I was in the store the prior day, and that they put the “defective” item back on the floor. I asked for a manager, the manager said that they usually give 30% off of damaged product, undercutting the associate’s offer of 20%. The manager immediately walked away, and wasn’t accommodating at all. This is hands down the worst target I’ve ever been to! I’m new to the area, but will drive farther to other targets.
