OBX Tiki Time — Attraction in Roanoke Island

Captain Randy was great! It was well worth the price. I would recommend this to anyone that wants a laid back comfortable boat tour.

We saw dolphins after not even 30 minutes on the boat. What I enjoyed about this in comparison to other dolphin tours that I’ve been on, is that he slowed down to let us see the dolphins and followed them around a little bit. Very calmly and slowly. Other dolphin tours in the past have been very fast and hard to see the dolphins.

Captain Randy also had great facts about the area.

I was also able to see Bodie lighthouse from the water, which I thought was great. I went there earlier in the week, so it was great to see another perspective of it.

Since this was a sunset tour, we also got some great views of the sun reflecting off of the water as the sun went down and it was gorgeous. Calm and quiet. Very peaceful.

In addition to a great trip, he also had a cooler on board with complimentary beverages and a bathroom.

100% Blown away by the experience! My fiance and I booked our seats not really knowing what to expect as we’ve NEVER done anything like this. We were lucky enough to show up and board the boat early and chat with the crew. A pair of the nicest, most personable people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. The boat itself was clean, organized and just an overall vibe, especially paired with the personalities aboard. We were lucky enough to see dolphins pretty early in our voyage, which then we were all given the option to continue searching for more, or to adventure off to see more. Throughout the entire time the guys running the boat were engaging with everyone aboard, having casual conversations, checking in on people, and offering waters.

All in all I couldn’t think of a better way to spend the two hours that we spent with them looking at dolphins, searching for wildlife, and just enjoying the ride. One of the best experiences I’ve had, 10/10 would recommend, and we’re already talking about how much we want...

We recently enjoyed a 2-hour cruise with OBX Tiki Time, and it was a delightful experience overall. The boat was clean and comfortable, offering a relaxing atmosphere with great music and scenic views. The captain and crew were friendly and accommodating, ensuring everyone had a good time on board.

Unfortunately, we didn't spot any dolphins during our trip, which was a bit disappointing. However, the captain graciously offered everyone a complimentary cruise for another day, demonstrating excellent customer service. Regrettably, our schedule didn't allow us to take advantage of this offer.

Despite not seeing dolphins, the cruise itself was enjoyable, and the crew's hospitality made it a memorable outing.
