George Washington Creef Memorial Park — Attraction in Manteo

Who doesn't enjoy a walk on a clean, beautiful, boardwalk, with family, friends or alone..always enjoyable .. besides a great area to explore for the history buffs' or the shops, locally owned, each unique, the restaurants to enjoy food, or the fun if a little small playground, which I know all my grandchildren at some point has enjoyed.. Manteo, though bustling in summer season, still is often overlooked, do I like it quiet, and want to keep it to myself, yes..lol"" but for economy sake' and to not deprive others of such a great area, take a day and enjoy..start at the park .work your way around, you'll find plenty..jump in the car and go further south for even more great places.. as always I do encourage you, visitors and locals alike to preserve the beauty and throw away your garbage, smokers theres plenty of spots to throw away your butts' and not in the soundside waters, or the ground for little ones to pick up and put in their mouths, so be courteous ,we who love and share this area with you...
