Bargain Market means Bargain Service. After shopping there for almost two years a sales clerk rudely demanded that I leave my bag up front at the counter citing a sudden store policy that is not posted or was ever mentioned. She then left my bag unsupervised and she would later say " cameras were watching it" as if that was a good reason to confiscate and then ditch my personal property.
The incident was unprovoked and her reasoning behind it seemed to be based more on discrimination than store policy.
The owner brushed me off and turned the incident around on me saying we live in a "Beautiful and Safe community and customers belongings rarely come up missing." And he hopes I return as a shopper soon for more exciting bargain shopping oppurtunities.
Beautiful and Safe in the 1990s maybe but not anymore, and Rarely is too much for me when my bag is witheld, then left for any of the homeless or addicted that roam that area to run off with it.

Read moreI used to love this market, but today my boyfriend brought in his service dog and a cashier named Patricia asked for his “service dog card.” For company Review She was Cashiering on May 20th at 7:45 pm. First of all there are no “cards” for service dogs, secondly this could get an institution like this shut down. This dog is here to do its job for a purpose and while I chose to ignore her because she obviously isn’t properly trained my boyfriend left because he decided it wasn’t worth it! I couldn’t be more irritated and angry right now. They are only allowed to ask you two questions about your service dog... 1. If they are a service dog and 2. What service they do provide for you? They cannot tell you because you don’t have an imaginary card that doesn’t exist that you cannot bring him in. I don’t bring his papers physically with me in the store. I will be reporting this and Grocery Outlet should educate their employees on how to...
Read moreIt seems to be a running joke that I start shopping and have an armful of groceries before realizing I really REALLY need a cart. Fortunately, a staff member noticed me hobbling toward where the carts are and offered to grab one for me! Really outstanding service. Some items are about the same price as a regular store, some things are MUCH cheaper at Grocery Outlet. Really depends on the location and the items. The Rohnert Park store is a better place to find dairy products and wine than some other locations. I just wish I'd remember to bring a reusable bag (I keep some in my car but forget to bring them in, haha). This store follows the local bag ban, so plastic bags are 15...
