It was a pleasent experience. We were visiting Sacramento and a friend invited us to take the boat on the river. It was a friendly atmosphere on the boat. The guide giving us a lot of information about facts and history. We enjoyed the nature and viewed the city from a diffrent angle. The highlight of this trip was seeing the amazing design of the nature where Califorina and Sacramento rivers meet. You could see in the picture the boundary of the two rivers. The color of the water is diffrent. Highly recomand the ride, don't miss it if you are in Sacramento.

It was nice but I didn't see any lifeguards on duty and accident did occur God is good my grandbaby and her friend save the man from drowning , well he did drown Turn blue and white And my grandbaby and her friend angel did CPR and brought him back by the grace of God And my grandbaby and her friend angel did CPR and brought him back by the grace of God . I think the lifeguards should not leave should not leave until the river is empty

I've been here many times over the years. The kids always enjoy themselves. Its a Great place to cool down on a hot day. But be prepared for big crowds during the summer. The beach really gets packed in like sardines in a can. I don't think I have ever been to this beach without meeting several new people, just because everyone is sharing the area. So don't expect any privacy. I personally prefer to go at the end of the day 5-6pm when everyone is leaving, just in time to catch the last rays of sun and watch the sunset over the city. There are quite a bit more transient camps littered around than there used to be and the park staff work hard to try to keep the area nice for beach goers, more trash cans have been added this year, but there is almost always a bit of scattered trash on the trail/parking area and parts of the beach and an odd character or two from time to time comes wandering through, so I would recomend traveling here in groups for safety. Free use of life jackets is on offer...

12 bucks gets your vehicle in I'm not sure about boat or trailor fees. It's a nice spot on the lake not over crowded but definitely not private either. It was great though the water had to have been at least 75 degrees hubby says 80 but idk lol. And people aren't like posted up on top of one another either nice and spaced out so you still vern enjoy some time with your family or friends and not feel like you are at a public pool or trying to spot your kids in a giant herd of them that's running up and down the beach like little maniacs lol. I very much enjoyed the day we spent there and highly recommend a visit.

Also, little suggestion... stay to watch the moonrise! It's so beautiful over the water and most people take off so it gets incredibly peaceful. And from the spot we were at you could see the lights of the nearby town over the hills after dusk twinkle in the distance. ...

Looks fun and inviting it's just the homeless camping up river has compromised the quality of water so it's not recommended I'd recommend staying above paradise beach it's definitely a small river but can be very unforgiving if not careful always stay alert never try to swim across the water is cold with lots of obstructions at the bottom always wear a life vest if swimming in the tiscornia park area despite all the pollution in the summer the place is usually pretty packed with beach goers and party yachts just hopefully the problem up river will be resolved soon every year the river gets up the garbage from all the campers gets washed into the river it's a huge problem...
