Stayed here 11/22/24-11/25/24, NEVER AGAIN! THE MANAGER EVEN SAID SHE WOULD NEVER PERSONALLY STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! From the first night we checked in Friday, the toilet in room 112 was clogged. We contacted front desk and said they would send someone later that night but did not send anybody. We left to enjoy the town and when we got back it was still clogged. We contacted front desk and told us that there was nobody to send and nothing they could and told us to figure something out regarding needing to use the restroom. Unacceptable, the front desk person refused several times to change our rooms until I threatened to go talk to them in person. We were inconvenienced by not having working toiletries and were forced to change rooms in the middle of the night. Second room was ok no problem until Saturday night when we returned the bathroom toilet in room 311 was overflowing and puddles of toilet water everywhere. We contacted front desk and again they said there was nothing they could do as they did not have any maintenance. We again requested to change rooms for 2nd night in a row and they denied us several times until again I said I would go and talk to them in person and they hung up the phone and did not answer when I tried calling back. After a few minutes passed a security guard cam knocking on our door to escort us to our “third” room of the weekend. I explained the situation to the security guard and even showed him the status of the toilet. He agreed this was unacceptable and even though he worked for security, he apologized on security’s behalf and the hotel management. When we got to our third room, #117, I made sure to ask the guard to stay so he could be witness to this toilet being in working order and he agreed and said he’ll be putting everything in his report and inform his employer as well as hotel management of what we have been going through. On our final day for checking out when I attempted to shower there was no hot water and was forced to shower with cold water. On checkout I request to speak to the manager so I can tell them all the issues we were experiencing with our stay this weekend. The manager was very apologetic at first, and said they would return our deposit and give a “discount” for the inconvenience. When I asked for the final bill I saw she had only deducted “$20” for the weekends inconveniences to which I laughed and said was an absurd and disrespectful amount. I demanded that we be compensated for all of the inconvenience we faced this weekend. The Manager said she would talk to the owner and would get us one night free stay and would convince him for a second free night stay for the inconveniences. I agreed and the manager went to the back to make a call. When she returned her entire demeanor had changed from helpful customer service to very rude and disrespectful. She said that no the owner said no and they wouldn’t do anything else besides returning the deposit and discounting $20. We went back and forth and the manager even made fun of us for staying at that hotel and she even said she would never personally stay in that hotel either. She even went so far as to call me a liar and said I probably made the whole thing up. Luckily I have witnesses and took videos. At this point her husband/other manager attempted to talk to me to come to an agreement. The husband/other manager said to give him 2 days to investigate and agreed that the employee from Friday night should have done more to help us and should not have told us to figure something else out regarding needing to use the toilet. The husband/other manager stated he would talk to the employee from Friday night and garnish/take away some of his Salary and credit it back to me for the inconveniences. It’s been 5 days and I have not received any credit or have been contact at all by management. If this continues I will be forced to seek legal counsel. The female manager I spoke with on 11/25/24 also refused to provide me with the owner’s phone or corporate phone numbers so I could make my complaints to them directly.

I have to make this post because it’s fresh and I’m so upset. I booked this room through work and planned on staying for two nights. I’m not from this area so I wasn’t sure what I was booking and had a budget due to work paying for it. I checked in early in the day. I am a single female and they put me in building D room 253 all around the back where there is a dead end. I went to have a dinner and checked out a comedy show. Returned around 9pm and immediately felt unsafe with the location. There was a homeless man under the stairs that I needed to use to get to my room & as I stepped out of my car, there was another man coming out of the bushes. He startled me. Again, im a single female and the location of the room made me feel uneasy. I called the front desk and Menona was nice to move me to a room closer in building B. Once I entered the room it wreaked of cigarettes. I’m already tired and frustrated by this entire experience. I called again to request a room that wouldn’t make my stomach hurt. Then security moved me to another room and had to kick out another man who was living in the hallway & told him there were break ins recently and he had to go. The third room was okay but smelled like urine. At this point I am exhausted and simply disappointed. I called other hotels and booked something else & went to check out at the front desk only to be belittled and invalidated by the front desk Menona who told me that she works the night shift and she’s never felt unsafe then went on to ask me if I was harassed or threatened as if that’s the only measurement of safety. I asked her where she was from that homeless men sleeping under stairs wasn’t a safety issue? She then resorted to calling me a racist and claiming I was harassing her by asking where she was from?! The audacity! I couldn’t believe it. Anyway, I’m comfortably finally resting in a clean safe hotel without homeless people outside. Don’t stay here unless you have to. Adding photos of the dude coming out of the bushes, the guy under the stairs and then a random dude who was posted by the entrance the whole time. If you’re a solo female traveler, this place is not for you. It’s unsafe and staff are ignorant.

I want to start off by saying that I don’t have luxury in mind when I think of a work stay. Alternatively, I do want to feel comfortable and safe. I arrived at 12:30 AM at night due to a work conference and a delayed flight. I think anyone could agree that when you arrive that late at night and you work at a hotel you are going to try to get that person in their room as soon as possible. Mind you, I had already made reservations. at that time the front desk attendant continued to talk to the security guard very loudly and told me to wait a minute. I patiently waited and waited and waited. Eventually, she allowed me to check in and then proceeded to tell me to wait a minute while she sent text messages. I was absolutely exhausted and just ready to get in my room. I have never experienced a check-in that takes this long. Eventually, I get into my room and I find that the security lock has been broken and screws are missing. Not to mention my door had to be shoved shut in order for it to close. I included a video for reference. I also found that an entire outlet did not work so I struggled to complete some work from the room. there were also several instances where I struggled to stay connected to the Wi-Fi using the password. Breakfast was a whole other ordeal. Again, I didn’t expect breakfast to be some insane luxury! But when I walked into breakfast, I saw no one else there and for a very good reason. There were gnats, swarming the juice, the open muffins, and other danishes! I ended up getting breakfast somewhere else.

If I could give no stars I would. Beginning to end this was an awful experience.

After booking this room online (with extra fee for Early check in), I called ahead to make sure things were taken care of so my partner and baby could check in while I was attending a conference. First time I called, I was put on hold and hung up after 30 minutes waiting. Called back the next day, 20 minutes on hold they hung up on me. Called back and was put on hold for 50 minutes more before someone picked up. I wanted to add my partner's name to the room so he could check in without me, and asked specifically if he would need my physical payment card that was on file to check in. The man on the phone added his name and assured me they would not need the physical card as they already had 2 cards on file for me (added online). I asked twice to confirm, both times he said that no physical card would be necessary for check in.

The day we arrived, my partner was told the room was not ready for early check in, and he would need my physical credit card to check in. I had to leave my conference to call and spent over 40 minutes on the phone with the person at the front desk who said they couldn't get a room earlier, could not check him in without my physical payment card, and was not willing to cancel our reservation in light of all these issues. So my partner and baby were to just wait around for 4 hours for the room to be ready, and he would email me an authorization form to fill out and send back along with photos of my credit card to charge the room. (Sketchy, but I'm out of options at this point. In the end, they didn't even charge this card - they charged the other card I had on file which they had no physical copy of. So all this was pointless)

My partner finally gets into the room hours later, and it reeks of cigarettes and dog piss. (Remember that we have a baby) So he calls the front desk and they say they have no other rooms available so they send a janitor to come spray some febreze - which of course does nothing. When I get back from the conference that evening and find the condition of the room and the smell there was no way I was going to let my baby spend the night there. I go to the front desk and explain the situation. She gives me keys to another room (smaller, not the same suite we booked) to check out. I go into that room and it also smells horrible, stale cigarettes and wet dog. I go back and tell her we would just like to leave at this point and want a refund. She insists she cannot do it as it's through a third party so I have to call them. I hopped on hotels.com online chat, they immediately called the front desk and asked them to refund it, we left.

Hours out of my life wasted dealing with this crappy hotel. I appreciate that the woman who helped us at the front desk made an effort to find us another room, and the cigarette smell isn't really the staff's fault - but all the check in drama was on them.

Also it was in a rough part of town with lots of seedy people hanging out in the parking lot drinking and stuff. I would not have wanted to leave our car there overnight. I absolutely do not recommend...
