UPDATE 7/20/24 DONT STAY! I can’t write a new review due to my current one but I will add how I feel as of 4/24/24!! Being here for as long as I have, Loraine has always been on top of her job! She has been very respectful to me and my family and making sure we had everything we needed for our stay here! I appreciate her for always making sure I am happy here, and also making things available for me as I need! She is a great employee and I hope she gets recognized for all that she does!!!
Adding to this review I want to say that Angel has also been amazing!! She is on top of everything and she is also a great employee! She makes sure all my needs are met without a problem and she she had the sweetest attitude out this world! She needs Recognition as wel!!

Walleed is also an amazing employee without a doubt! He keeps you on your feet and makes sure things are done on time every time!! With a big smile 😊 Recognition for him too!!

Quiet Unbelievably Quiet!! Gated for your protection as well. I feel safe here and love the staff!! Lorraine is so awesome she works nights and she is super sweet, nice, kind, and she will make you laugh with her worming and funny jokes!! I love her sweet personality and that made me want to come back for my next days I had to stay in this area!! Also Ujjwal works nights and he is also attentive to all your needs as a guest. He has a great attitude and his customer service is out of this world! I appreciate him for always making sure I’m ok with everything I need. He always has a smile on his face😊! The other staff in the morning, is also nice and respectful. The lady in the morning ( I never got her name), but she always greets me with a nice Hello! They all have been kind and courteous without any force!! Let me not forget Joseph, (one of the managers) in the am he is super nice too! He also made me feel welcome with no hesitation. They all have great Customer Service Skills at this Location.This motel 6 will be my 1st choice whenever I return in the near future! If you are looking for a comfortable place to stay with clean nice comfy rooms that has been renovated within the last few months, this is definitely the place! Beds, floors, sinks, walls, toilets, counters, and everything redone! Feels like your the 1st person in the room! COME HERE YOU WONT REGRET IT! So let me add on to this review since I’ve been here longer than expected! I love the fact that Walleed is your morning person who greets you with kindness and respect when you arrive to the office. He is so well mannered and will make sure your stay will be pleasant with out any worries. He is always nice and kind with his words and you will definitely be greeted with a smile when you walk in the office😊 He makes sure you are satisfied with every and anything that you may need while your staying here! Walleed is always making sure I’m ok with my stay. Always offering toiletries and making sure I’m comfortable.He has great customer service skills and that makes my stay more happy!! Im so glad they have him here as an employee. Great choice!! Let me not leave out Mosey and Cece the 2 sweethearts I adore! They both treat me with the upmost respect! They are both kindhearted as well and I love their energy! Ms. Mosey is the manager and she is super sweet and funny, and Cece has a gentle heart and she is also kind and sweet with her customer service skills! Mosey as a manager, has made me feel comfort while I’m here. She has always treated me the same with her good spirits! They all make sure that I’m satisfied with my stay here! I love the vibe here!! I feel very welcomed without a doubt! To top it off….Housekeeping does a such amazing job at keeping everything clean and with making sure you have everything that you need! So bottom line is…… COME TO THIS MOTEL6!!! You won’t regret it! You will be treated with kindness throughout...
Read moreOn arrival everything was wonderful. Marcus was in charge and he should be made manager because he has customer service mentality. Called to be sure everything OK in our room and came right away and changed out broken toilet seat and our TV, etc. But when Jason and Peter came on duty we had a terrible feeling about Motel 6. I, Linda DeBlanco, was in room 201. I came all the way from Guatemala for maybe my last family reunion (I'm 75) with my daughter and grandson. We had begged for a downstairs room as my daughter is also mobility challenged but they could never pull that off for us in three nights. Such a lot of aggravation once Marcus was gone. For Saturday night we had two rooms and Sunday my grandson checked out. THE MINUTE my grandson came up to our room Sunday, Jason called and insisted my grandson and his girlfriend come down the stairs to show their ID even though he knew all their information was already available and they had just checked out. The MINUTE we came back from lunch, before I even put down my purse, Jason was on the phone announcing my grandson and his girl could only stay for 2 hours even though we advised that this might be the last get-together I would have with them in my life as I'm getting too old to travel and Guatemala is far away. My grandson spent an hour on the phone with Motel 6 customer service and was granted another two hours but he'd already wasted one of them talking to your people. All in all the experience ruined our maybe last family reunion. The power went out for hours in our room but we could see lights on in other rooms and we asked for another room with power because my daughter had a medical device that needed electricity. We saw very few guests around but they couldn't do that either. We were exhausted from our travels and visit and on Monday night asked Jason if we could check out a little late and knew it was possible because my grandson had had a late checkout on Sunday. Jason said no and when I commented that my grandson had been able to do that he said, "I don't believe in that." IT WAS HIS BELIEF?!!?? Overall I would have to say our stay was five stars less than zero. Your hard nosed power happy people (especially Jason) had a terrible negative impact on our precious time together...

I thought the location was good since it was near the old Sacramento area but when I got there, there were shady people all over the place (hanging out and staying there) and there were homeless, shady characters all over the areas! I asked for a quiet a room since I am a light sleeper and when I got there, they gave me a room in a DARK corner of the building, in the BACK, where all the shady people and homeless folks were just hanging out there. I was like, "nope!", so I went back to the front office and asked for a different room. They gave ANOTHER room in a different corner section. I didn't feel safe as a female traveler, so I asked for a different room again. Well, this time, the Sandy blonde, tall lady was all full of attitude. Said they can't keep switching rooms for me as others have their reservations (um.., so was mine!). She brushed me off and said if I didn't like it, I can get my money back. Fine, I asked for my money back (but had to go through Expedia/hotels dot com since that was who I booked it through (luckily they came through and refunded my reservation after calling this Motel 6 to confirm).
There was a guy there, waiting to be checked in behind me and he asked what was wrong (why I wasn't happy) and I told him what happened and pointed to the dark end of the corner of the building. Well, his response was, "I don't like that either". That was coming from a guy!
I eventually found another Motel 6 after scrambling to find a hotel that takes pets (and it was 11:30pm!)... Luckily I found a wonderful Motel 6 about 10 minutes away and from the looks of the property, it felt safe and looked clean (and the room was!). The front desk lady who helped me, Lisa, at this different location was very nice, professional and sympathetic. When I told her what happened, she said that the Sandy blonde lady wasn't supposed to make guests feel unwelcome and was supposed to give suggestions to other branches nearby by. Well, that rude lady didn't do any of that, so it's not Motel 6's fault but the bad front desk clerk. It's a shame they let someone like that deal with paying patrons.
Besides the bad experience with the worker who was full of attitude, the location of this place is a dump. Do not even consider...
