MY WORST HOTEL STAY EVER! I have never written a review ever in my life, but this had to be the worst stay customer service ever in my entire life. If you want to feel unsafe threatened and treated with the worst customer service ever then by all means stay here and get ripped off !!!
I had booked two separate suite size rooms, One king with pull out, and one with double beds and a pull out. Upon arrival I was told I couldn’t pay in cash. So I was forced to even pay for the room rate on my card, which was listed no where. Was told it was managers discretion. As we walked in all 6 of us, were starred down not quite understanding why. Checked in aprrox. 3:30pm
About two hours later of staying in the room, we dialed zero for additional towels, he asked about three different questions of how many adults were in the room, if they were all staying there.. and once the guy same “manager” who checked us in brought up the towels to the room with the double beds, continued to bombard with about two ore questions… says you will be charged $20.00 additional for the extra people. The room has two double beds and a pull out bed.
I got the news and went down there to ask what the addional charge was for, and how he could just charge me $20.00 for extra people and he should show me where it was posted he tells me he doesn’t need to show me anything that I should check my reservation which I stood there and continued to do and scroll through my email. As im standing here I say to him “its been bullshit since we’ve arrived” he instantly goes bipolar on me and says hes going to call the cops and have me and my party escorted out I said for what?! He said because I don’t want you guys here, you think youre big and bad and if we were on the street you wouldn’t be talking to me with such attitude (threat!) after I call him out on threatening me he has the audacity to say I was HARASSING HIM! I honestly was scared atthis point he was pacing back and forth with the telephone in his hand like as if he was going to put his hands on me (as a woman). He tells me im irritating him and his manager will be there in the morning and I can speak to her and I need to go up to my room. As he ordered me to go back to my room I got angry again and said youre not going to tell me what to do, he proceeds to strike his finger up and yell GO!! (as if he was my father) so I apologized because I was scared. And went up to my room.
Hour later about 8pm, my boyfriend and I walk across the street to the Arco who knew of the pervious event I had with the clerk/manager/housekeeper. When we walked back in he was at the counter, so my boyfriends looks at him as hes helping someone else to try and read his name tag, the clerk looks over and with the most rude tone says “Can I help you?” he says no and he says back “well don’t be looking over here like that I will call the cops and have you all escorted out, room 308!” I drag my boyfriend into the elevator before it escalates.
Not even 10 minutes later we got a knock on the door, and same guy to give us a final warning because he feels “intimated” for the way my boyfriend looked at him and that all the on coming workers knew to kick us out.
We leave the hotel at 10pm, leave all ur valubles in the car because we had no idea what this man was going to do. Come back from a night out at 2:30am all intoxicated we were pretty loud in the hall way going up to our rooms, 10 minutes later after we are in our rooms quiet knock on the door police there to escort us out of our...
Read moreI was in town for a music festival over the weekend and chose this hotel based on its location to the venue. The card I booked the hotel with had expired, so I called earlier in the week to update my info. The front office manager took the information, and in a very condescending manner, told me that he'd run my card the day before and if it didn't go through, he'd cancel my reservation. I know this is policy, but the way he said was VERY rude and I felt like he was treating me like some punk kid. I'm a grown man that expects a level of HOSPITALITY from someone working in the HOSPITALITY INDUSTRY! The day of check I drive up and the parking lot was blocked with caution tape and they had people checking the cars and people pulling into the hotel. Mind you, NONE of the other hotels in the area were doing this. Upon checking in, I was told that there is a no visitor policy at the hotel. I've never heard of such a thing at ANY hotel that I've ever stayed at before. I have friends that live in the area that wanted to meet up before the show, but apparently this is unacceptable. This is before we even saw the room! The room was decent, nothing spectacular. The television reception was okay. The toilet and shower had VERY little water pressure. You were better off using a bottle of water to bathe yourself. The breakfast they provided was dismal. The eggs were nasty, the sausages were dry and cold, the yogurt was warm, and the coffee was burned. Rude staff, ridiculous policies, mediocre rooms and amenities... the only saving grace was the location to the festival. I'm staying at different hotel for...
Read moreStayed at this hotel with my co-workers. The following morning I informed the front desk that the toilets in both rooms were not working properly, the blow dryer in my room did not work and the door would not securely shut unless I put my entire weight against it. Staff apologized and offered me 1,000 choice hotel points. A few days later I received a survey for my stay, which I promptly completed, mostly so they could be informed of the problems with the rooms. Later on I received an e-mail from
N.Berrios Guest Services Manager Comfort Suites, Downtown Sacramento 916-446-9400
"We apologize about the issues you encountered during your recent stay with us. Our staff is trained to resolve the problems you encountered but we were never given the chance to fix them. Had you informed us immediately and not the next morning we could have taken the steps to remedy the situation to your satisfaction. Once again we do apologize we could not make this stay an excellent one for you, we hope to have another opportunity to accommodate you."
I could not believe this response actually blaming the customer as "I did not inform them immediately".
We did not arrive until 9:30 the evening prior and there was no need for me to use the toilet til the middle of the night and I was to inform them then and be up all night waiting for them to fix it. Also I did not see a need to check all electronics when checking in as I did not use the blow dryer til the morning.
In closing due to the rudeness of Mr. Berrios, Comfort Suites Hotel in Sacramento will never have the opportunity to...
