SureStay Plus by Best Western Sacramento North — Hotel in Sacramento

Here is our experience. We get into the room we try to turn on the tv for kids tv will turn on but remote does nothing else. We get a new remote only controls volume and power nothing else no big deal. Well... i sit on the second bed to take off my shoes i get sucked into the middle of the bed i am the mattress and box spring are way old and over used i felt like i was going to go through the mattress and hit the floor i am only 200 lbs which is about average. Anyways the other bed was fine i take off my shoes and feel grit all through the floor on my feet my feet are black at this point. Ugh... i try to give the kids a bath in the tub and realize there's no way to plug the tub or stop the water from going down the drain also the faucet was leaking out of the bottom wall most of the faucet. So i said i guess it's a shower kids.. kids:"awww no bath".... i turn the shower on it goes and starts spraying sideways out of the side of the shower head spraying me the wall and the toilet. So i gave them a quick shower then mopped the nasty black floor with the 2 towels they provided while my kids stayed on the bathroom tile floor the white towels turned black quickly. We're not finished yet don't worry... so i get my kids in pjs and put disney+ on my phone for them to watch then put my little ones milk in fridge that said it was set to setting 7 evidently the fridge was not working either.... i inspected bedding looked okay so we slept in the 2 beds by this time it was like 11 p.m. kids fell asleep to my phone plugged into the 1 thing that actually worked the lamp. My kids were fine with the lumpy bed that sucked you to the floorthe 1 year old slept in his play pin and my 2 year old slept in our bed... wait there's morrrre :D at about 4 am the lights are out my wife goes the use the bathroom incident 1 toilet drains very slowly and doesn't flush i wake up to my wife going to the bathroom incident 2 I'm walking to use bathroom after and realize the wife walked passed me and... wait for it.... cockroaches! Yay! I smash the little bugs and we are up there's no more sleeping keep an eye on our kids who are sleeping i didnt even want to make coffee. The one thing my kids wanted to do was swim we put their floaties on and walked across the whole lot to get to the pool (we were placed in #136) the floor and walls of the pool were coated in algea... any who we went to the complimentary breakfast it was those instant scrambled eggs some decent country potatoes untill i got to the middle of the pile and half of them were rotted and a sausage patty ordinary and fine the patty was... well after that we pack up let the front know of just half of our experience they said they would immediately release the deposit but did not offer a refund which we paid 114 dollars for the room and the deposit for some reason was 100 dollars. I could have stayed at a roach coach motel 6 for 30 dollars a night and had a better experience at least the stuff in the room would work p.s. its been 2 hours and my deposit has not been released. for all that do not listen good luck on your adventure in...

I have stayed at this particular hotel for nearly a months time and spent $2104. My mother is 83 years old and can’t see tag well so she depends on others to help her out with sending money and using apps. However, my only issue is the gentleman by the name of Kumar. The first time I sat outside he had me sit outside after he had fallen asleep for two hours and 40 minutes as I sat in the lobby, waiting for my mother to send me funds, and then he shooed me outside in 32° weather and rain and wind in the storm from 930 at night until 7 o’clock in the morning and all my bags were wet and soaked so I ha to take them and store them but just tonight just a few moments ago. I sat there because I was told by this gentleman that the earliest check-in is 6 o’clock not 10 o’clock on the website so what I was doing was waiting to check in at 6 o’clock this morning. I had been waiting on mom since yesterday but she couldn’t find any help. Kumar comes to me and tells me that I have to leave the lobby and I’m trying to explain to him that the earliest check is six according to him, it is now 530 however he should be out out of the lobby into the cold and it is now raining. There is no humanity at this place much less the customer service with the money that I have spent just staying here alone versus going to one of the other three or four local hotels there within two or three minutes I would recommend that versus staying somewhere where someone does not appreciate my gay dollar and that is exactly what I mean. I find him to be rude callous and inconsiderate. No one no human being should be treated this way especially after staying that long. I’m not saying that I am the richest person in the world, but I think that $2100 which is the rent of a three or four bedroom apartment could at least be appreciated and being the fact that I’m a diamond member is not taken into consideration no customer service is poor guests are always lined up. There are nice maids who I happen to like and because they do their job and they are polite, but Kumar does not have the neck for public assistance or customer service so with that said no, I will not be staying at this hotel anymore. I will never do this place anymore. I will not come near this place anymore. My new choice will be the motel six which is around the corner at a cheaper rate by approximately $20-$30 so that’s it. I’m hoping that those who are in charge will read this review and perhaps watch the video because every time you come downstairs to ask a question if you called to ask for help if you need something done with the room if this individual is working, he is asleep at the desk. He is asleep at the tables. He is sleeping in his car for hours 345 hours how is the person coming to work and being paid to go to sleep that to my knowledge is a dream job and I use that term loosely just...

We reserved the room from a 3rd party, Super com. MISTAKE! This room in Del Paso Heights was disgusting. Walked into the room and saw 2 cockroaches! The shower and tub were not clean and the pillow cases had grease on them, no bedspreads on the beds, one tiny towel for the shower, it was not that clean and I didn't save one cent going through the 3rd party, Super.com. Me and my granddaughters basically sat on the edge of the beds afraid of cockroaches getting on us waiting for morning so we could leave. There were people outside of our window and door all night long. It was not relaxing and it was not worth the money I was charged. What this room ended up costing me was $200. Dollars for one night. We arrived at 2:00 am and the checkout was at 11:00 am. Nine hours for $200. Dollars. It was scary surroundings. A person had a fire going in the parking lot to keep them warm, right behind my car, the parking lot was full of litter and random people were jumping the security fence. I didn't want to stay there at all, I asked for my money back and was told first, this is a non- refundable transaction and the desk clerk had already completed my check in and had I reserved the room through the Sure Stay directly and not a 3rd party Super com, I could have gotten a refund but my transaction was non-refundable. The Desk clerk told me that I would need to take it up with the Super.com, the 3rd party that I used to book the room and maybe they would give me my $200 dollars back so I could stay somewhere that I felt safe. Then I was charged an additional $100 dollars for incidentals that the desk clerk said I wouldn't get my $100 dollars back for 14 days to credit back to my card! Then I was charged another $23. For my service animal. So I didn't save any money and it cost me more. I called the 3rd party, Super.com who I booked the room through who told me sorry lady, non-refundable and sorry you don't feel safe staying there alone with 2 granddaughters, sorry your room is dirty, and has cockroaches but if it will make you feel better, we will send you an email form you can fill out and send back to us. No supervisor was available and I was basically stuck with a $200 dollar del Paso heights motel room, whether I liked it or not, but I didn't have to stay there, but I was being charged the $200 dollars either way. This was a Best Western and I actually booked the room because it was at a Best Western. I thought that Best Western was a reputable organization that took pride in their properties and never in a million years expected what I just experienced at this place. Boy, was I ever...
