Whirlpool Compass Fountain — Attraction in Saint Joseph

St. Joseph Michigan, Whirlpool Compass Fountain, oh my goodness a wonderful place to visit! If you have never been to St. Joe's then you need to pack your bags and go right now! Everything about this place is magical, your kids will love it, you will love it and your parents will love it! St. Joseph is for the very young to the very old, something for everyone! The fountain is a blast, l am 58 and l LOVE it! It is huge, and l mean huge, from dozens upon dozens of small little fountains that grow and grow to an awesom refreshing spray that amaze and delight fountain dwellers as well as onlookers all summer long! When l am in St. Joe's l never want to leave, and when l leave l can't wait to go back! The town, the people, the shops, the restaurants, the ice cream, the beach and the glorious Whirlpool...

Beautiful, huge, in-ground fountain near the beach. Very refreshing on hot days! But every 15-20 min the main center fountain shuts down and powerful water blasts out of the side poles so there is nowhere you can get out of the water. This was fun for most people, but I was there with my 2 toddlers and we did not know. By the time I got them both picked up and out of the downpour, they were crying hysterically. From then on we got off the compass every time the centre fountains went...

It's great place for the kids to be at however I wish there was free parking spaces around. When your on a budget and want to take the kids out or just go for a walk, I for one dont like to pay for parking theres parking behind the carousel but its $10 and theres parking by the fountain but its $15 to park and if your only going to be there for an hour...
