Boulevard Inn was fantastic for our wedding room blocks, and for the bridal suite. I reserved a Deluxe Family Suite for my bridal party to get ready in. We fit myself (bride), 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 2 sister-in-laws, and three hair / makeup artists and all were able to comfortably get ready. It was so fun! We booked Hanna Wagner Designs out of Grand Rapids for hair and makeup if you’re wondering; it was so convenient to have them in one room.
Also, even though there’s only one bathroom, there was a full mirror and double sinks in the master bedroom, so that really helped when getting ready.
My husband had a Park View Suite for the groomsmen to eat lunch and congregate in and he said it was a great size for him, 5 groomsmen, 2 brothers, and 2 fathers to meet in. His room also has a fantastic view of the lake.
My aunts also brought a great spread for a bridal brunch from Cafe Tosi and there was plenty of room. It was great to have the full sized refrigerator.
The event staff was also fantastic to work with. I’d recommend booking the Boulevard Inn for your events.

This is our FAVE hotel! My husband worked in hospitality for almost 15 years and this is his pick! We love the suites, the views, and the breakfast. Best breakfast we've ever had at a hotel. The staff is pleasant and the hotel is clean. The showers are so good that my husband looked up the brand (of shower head) and bought one for home, lol. The rooms are pricier than what we'd normally pay, BUT worth every penny and is way we come back. That and you can walk right across the street to Silver Beach Pizza, pur FAVE pizza place! We drive 3 hrs from Indianapolis a few times a year for this hotel, view, and food. We will definitely be back! I also included a pic of pizza to make sure you don't miss out on Silver Beach pizza when you stay 😋🍕

Came to stay with friends. Our 2 bed room (w/ sleeper sofa) was sanitized and pretty clean when we first entered. The room amenities are standard but everything else about this place is phenomenal! The rustic style and upscale environment is very refreshing from your run of the mill hilton. The location is literally a walk away from lake Michigan!! And the in house restaurant serves excellent cuisine! 10% off for guests. They also give complimentary passes to the local rec center which is very nice as well. Definitely will be staying again soon!

First time staying here, amazing location that makes everything easily walkable. The staff is very friendly, coffee is available all the time and they bake cookies fresh in the lobby. We ordered food from The restaurant the first night, a Bistro burger with fries and the panko crusted Cauliflower with whipped Blue cheese. First thing I realized is they didn’t give us any silverware or napkins which was a bummer because the cauliflower was covered in sauce and we wanted to cut the burger in half because we were sharing. I ordered the burger well done I took one bite. It tasted very good but the inside was still pink and I do not eat my ground beef pink. My boyfriend does so it wasn’t a big deal. I just gave him the whole burger and ate some of the fries, the cauliflower was so good but could have used more blue cheese, it was a giant order of cauliflower which was great but they only gave us one little blue cheese. Overall though the meal was good. The parking situation is a little interesting because we paid I think $327 a night to stay there and parking is a free for all with the exception of July 4th, they did block off the parking lot and only let people in that had a key card but still advised us not to move our car because we probably wouldn’t get another spot that day. We only moved our car twice the 4 days we were there and one time we did have to park on the street because there was no room in the parking lot because it’s open to anyone. The room was nice and we had a beautiful view, awesome water pressure and a very comfortable Bed! My kids slept on the pull out mattress in the couch and both woke up feeling absolutely broken, they for sure phoned that in—the mattress is about 3 inches thick. If anyone is going to be sleeping on that bad boy for any amount of time I would recommend just throwing the mattress on the ground because otherwise you feel like you’re just sleeping directly on the metal bars holding up the pull out. Overall it was a good experience and again you cannot beat the location...

We stayed here for a wedding and the charged both the bride and myself for my room. When we noticed after leaving, we called to straighten it out and they refused to refund either of us so I had to contact my credit card issuer to get it fixed. ||||The hotel rooms themselves are very run down. The refrigerators are loud and cranky, decor out-dated, pillows cheap and lumpy, and the a/c doesn’t work well.||||During our stay we called for maintenance because our shower was broken and sprayed water clear over the entire bathroom, making the floor very slippery and dangerous. Maintenance came and did nothing but tell us that is how the shower is and we would have to deal with it. ||||We also called to request housekeeping during our stay as they do not offer it unless requested. They insisted that we had to leave the room before housekeeping arrived so we took my aging father and carted him around town with his cane for several hours. ||||When we returned, our room was exactly as we had left it. Housekeeping never came. We called the front desk and were told it was too late to get housekeeping at that time even though it was just after 1pm local time.||||Others in our party were advised they could not rent a single room for themselves but had to pay for an entire suite for one guest. We blocked off a number of both single rooms and suites for our party but all who reserved early were forced into suites, regardless of party size. Those who reserved rooms later were able to get single rooms, although earlier parties were told those were all booked. I see this as the hotel being dishonest in order to ensure the expensive rooms filled up first.||||The restaurant is excellent but I would never stay at this hotel again and I certainly would never utilize this place for any kind of event where I want my guests to be comfortable. For $500+ a night we could have stayed in a much nicer hotel and we were extremely disappointed at how we were treated before, during, and after our stay...

Wonderful venue. Classy. Bistro restaurant's new menu is fair given the excellent cullinary history, unfortunately.... Hopefully they will return some classic entries this reviewer has immensely enjoyed in the past. Staff, facility, view, location can't be beat in the wonderful town of St. Joseph. The rooms, lobby and restaurant are very pleasant and thought through architecturally for the guest experience. In regards to the downtown, all of the store fronts are occupied... Great shopping. Great places to eat. This reviewer is writing my review the weekend before Thanksgiving when it was rainy and snowy mixture outside but still we enjoyed this wonderful community to walk around with fun people to talk to and great places to shop and dine. Go there. The chamber of commerce is very active and positively spoken of by many store owners and this hotel. St. Joseph always has something going on that's of interest for anyone wanting to do something for the weekend. ... In all seasons. When walking around st. Joseph we felt very safe. The Boulevard Inn is a gem in any season here in Michigan on Lake Michigan, a rarity. They offer complimentary breakfast buffet which is far above average for being complimentary... Plus great views and great service. Our room was palatial with great views of the city and of Lake Michigan plus a full size refrigerator, wet bar and a small dining table, two rooms, two TVs, and pull out couch and...
