The owner responded to the review and for now we are satisfied.
We do not request a refund and the willingness to correct the lack of communication and training their employees already seems enough to us.

HOW TO LOOSE CUSTOMERS OVER PENNIES
Like someone already said here: āPoor customer service, repeat customers: We are local, come here quite a bit and give recommendations to others. Really unfortunate. If only some business understood what the true value of respecting their customers really meant.ā.
We live in St. Joseph and today my spouse and I ordered two ice creams. When we seated we realized that we hadnāt spoon. I asked two spoons to the attendant and she said that was $0,50 per spoon + tax. I was surprised but I paid them using a credit card on purpose (so what are they really going to put in their pocket after the card administratorsā fee?). HOW ARE YOU GOING TO CHARGE FOR SOMETHING THAT SHOULD COME STANDARD WITH MY ORDER. I saw several customers holding spoons and I was wondering if everyone paid for their spoons or was I the only idiot to pay. Or had they brought spoons from home.
I will never be coming back here again, thatās for sure.

It was a bit overwhelming and chaotic because we werenāt able to see all the flavors available and the staff seemed tired and over it all and just trying to rush us thru the line. Though, it didnāt feel like a line cause the line didnāt move - you ordered what you wanted and then just stood there until they handed you your ice cream. Which is why we couldnāt see all the flavors cause everyone was standing in the way.
In the end my daughter got herself a waffle cone with some chocolate flavor and loved it, my husband settled on a waffle cone with vanilla because he was feeling rushed and was having a hard time getting his questions answered, and I went with a cup with two different flavors in it. Sadly the bottom ice cream in my cup was already melting before it made it to my hands so it wasnāt very good when I got to it so I ended up throwing...

When we were finally helped by a young Filipino girl, her attitude was unfortunately disappointing from the start, when I asked ādo we order here?ā She engaged in conversation with a co-worker while we were ordering, which lead us to having to repeat our order; server even laughed with her colleague about the situation. This lack of professionalism left us unsatisfied.
While the atmosphere and ice cream selection were great, the poor customer service significantly detracted from our overall experience. We hope that management can address this issues to improve...
