How y'all are handling COVID is great. Having us, the customers, toss the aprons (and hot towels if we get that dope MVP) is brilliant. Nope, I'm not being sarcastic. :)
The stylist who cut my hair was AWESOME. I wish I could share her name so the company can see how well she did, but I plan on letting this be shared publicly. So yeah! She was super friendly, and knew exactly what she was doing. I'm not normally good or comfortable with small talk in those situations (especially since I kiiiinda don't like sports. What? I'm not gonna pass up the MVP treatment), but I felt completely at ease talking about whatever. It's been the entirety of quarantine plus some since I last got a cut, so when I asked if she had a recommendation for what style to go with, she didn't roll her eyes or pause as if to think "really? You can't just know what you want?" Boom! Right away, knew what would work well for me!
Oh, and I have NEVER had anyone mention the silver hairs on my sides, nor the texture of my hair, anything. But the first things she even mentions are those. Ngl, having your barber/hair stylist/etc be enamored with your hair feels Preeeeettyyy good. Haha!
So yeah. Sports Clips. Great place. If you're a potential customer reading this, just know that I've been going here since my dad took me as a kid. The MVP treatment is LOVE. Pricey? Coming from a college student, yeah. Is it worth it? Yuuuuup.
SO. I MEANT to post this back when I actually got the cut. LMFAO But man...life's been fun and I have not had the time to do this. Sorry for being late! I still...

I’ve been to many other sports clips and they are great - I will 100% never go here again The stylist didn’t ask how much to take off - she just went for it and took about twice as much off as I’d like if not more. She sped through it and didnt ask me how anything looked. Again, she just went. Spilled my hair all over me, and in total spent about 1/4 of the time that it usually takes on every step. For the shampoo and massage, it was almost non existent. She gave me scolding water, then when I flinched she turned it ice cold, and coughed on me multiple times. She finished by slapping some product on me and said we’re done. I had to ask to look in a mirror. I got home and debated buzzing my head for the first time in years. Tried to fix everything she screwed up myself, but it’s hard when she didn’t leave enough hair to work with. I’m sure the other stylist are better (mine had dark brown hair for a heads up), but it’s not worth the risk of having to hate how your hair looks for a month or more before you can...
Read moreWas given an estimate time on-line. Showed up a bit early in case there was an earlier opening. There were 4 stylists on and only 5 people in front of me. None of them got the upgraded massage and shampoo.
The stylists kept checking-out there clients and then disappearing. At one point only one stylist was working.... and she was going at a snail's pace. I also noticed her taking the hand mirror across the room to show her client the back of his head. I'm saying a good 15 feet back.
I had waited about 35 minutes past my approximate wait time before I finally was the next up, and again the stylist disappeared. When I finally got into a chair my stylist was nice, and the cut was quick and how I liked it. I'm giving 3 stars for my experience in the chair. Had that been bad, a one star would have...
