Colonial Hall at Rockafellas — Attraction in Salem

We had the most incredible experience hosting our wedding at Colonial Hall at Rockafellas and we cannot thank them enough for making our special day absolutely perfect! As a couple planning a wedding from out of state, we were prepared for a stressful process, but the team at Colonial Hall made the entire process not only manageable but truly enjoyable. Our event coordinators Ricky and Michelle were genuinely warm, responsive, and always ready to assist with any question or request. They went above and beyond to ensure that every detail of our day was taken care of, from the initial planning stages to the moment we walked down the aisle.

Colonial Hall itself is stunning — a beautiful, historic venue with plenty of charm and character. The atmosphere was perfect for our celebration! Our guests raved about the food, and the service was amazing, tending to all of our guests' needs.

We recently had our wedding reception at Colonial Hall, and it was absolutely the perfect venue! The hall itself is fantastic, and we were able to perfectly match the vibe we wanted with some decorations and personal touches! The wrap-around balcony was great for cocktail hour and the stairs made the perfect “grand entrance” location. The venue COMFORTABLY fit our guest count (tables for 120 guests), with plenty of room for a dance floor and Photo Booth! The location of the venue is perfect, being right in the heart of downtown Salem, and in walking distance from all the major hotels. The service and staff were excellent, especially Michelle and Ricky, who went above and beyond to make everything run smoothly and support our decorating/setup (they were also great and quick with communications leading up to the event). All of the food was delicious, and it was great that guests were able to go down to Rockafellas after the reception to keep the party going! We were here for a wedding, and the venue was large and accommodating. It was also nice that we were able to leave our stuff upstairs after the reception and go downstairs to enjoy the live music in the bar. The only strange thing was that the bridal party "holding suites" were on the far end of the hall from the elevators... so we had to walk through the cocktail hour into the "holding rooms" and wait to be properly announced to actually make our entrance. Also the holding rooms were not air conditioned, so they were unbearably hot and we weren't able to actually wait there...
