Beautiful place for a nice quaint cocktail hour/ wedding reception. (If your having a big wedding party not really the place for you) The evening was very elegant and perfect weather for my friends wedding reception. I did hear from them that the place has lots of "rules" to abide by and you aren't allowed in until a certain time to set up, which could be a game changer for some weddings but luckily they did have an hour before the wedding to set up and it looked perfect! If you have the right centerpieces, flowers and decor like they did your going to have a beautiful reception. The only drawbacks I saw were the bathrooms were one person at a time and no mirrors and the walkway pavements were very uneven! Definitely a walking hazard in some places. But it's truly a charming place and it has great atmosphere for the evening!! Once the flowers were placed and the candles lit with Beautiful music in the air and everyone in formal attire, the evening was made very...

Spanish Governor's Palace. This is one of the tourist destination in the city of San Antonio. And old building build in the mid of the year 1700. If you are an architect or a historical building lovers, it a must to visit this place and amaze how beautiful this place is. This is a small museum, it was used to be a residential of the Spanish Captain and become a Governor's of Texas with the story of the past glory.

If you visit this place, not so much information available but it will brings you through your imagination to the of the Spanish colonial era by seeing the building, the gardens, the courtyard and the plaza of this Palace. There's an entrance ticket to go inside the building about USD5/pax. Before you are leaving there's a small souvenir shop near the entrance gate and you can buy some souvenirs of this place and from the...

Museums are houses of worship. Worship of history, our past, and heritage.

Sadly, this was a disappointing experience. Upon the entrance and payment (no discount for students and veterans) we were told we had only about 30 minutes for this visit because they had an even starting and had to close early today. We would prefer this information BEFORE we had already paid and entered. We'd came by another day...

We had to rush our visit and hurry. Not good.

The museum worker did not show any interest (nor information) to answer any questions about the museum. Maybe the said EVENT was in their way.

We really wanted to enjoy our visit yet we did not feel...
