The Venues at San Fernando — Attraction in San Antonio

The venue and courtyard are pretty, but the new venue staff is unprofessional and lack a servants heart. Eloise was the absolute best to work with. The new staff has some big shoes to fill.

The new staff sent a sick coordinator to my event on February 17, 2024 and she was unpleasant all night. I simply cannot put into words how horribly both my event planner and I were treated during my event. I was pulled away multiple times during my event which caused emotional distress. After speaking with the San Fernando administration, it was apparent the new staff as a whole lack emotional intelligence and professionalism. They took no accountability and were accusatory and threatening. They accused me of having 200 more guests than what was on my contract WITHOUT counting guests as they arrived and left and immediately threatened to shut down my daughter’s quinceanera. San Fernando should be ashamed of themselves.

The response below from San Fernando was more professional than the actual conversation my event planner and I had in their office today. They treated us like we were wasting their time.

Stopped by for information on the venue for a wedding party, before we even walked into the venue we mentioned that the bride and groom were Arab and going to have an islamic wedding at the Mosk and then just have the party at this venue. The minute the lady heard that she stopped on her tracks, blocked the door with her body so we couldn’t come in and said “We only accept CATHOLICS wedding parties here” She completely changed her attitude once she heard we didn’t follow the religion they approve of and was basically kicking us out at that point, she couldn’t give a clear explanation as to why they couldn’t rent, or even show us the room, just pure judgment and...
