If you love to get drunk on a boat and don't care what you're looking at while doing it, this is the cruise for you! The cruise is a very, very slow-moving tour of Mission Bay. I'm not sure we ever produced a wake. The first 10 minutes and the last 10 minutes (i.e.- nearly 25% of the cruise) were spent in the marina slowly circling a live bait dock, with the narrator pointing out the two sea lions laying on a buoy nearby. He also pointed out all of the pelicans and other birds trying to figure out how to get to the bait fish below the dock. Yippee. Not exactly interesting or informative, but since half the people on board had very evidently pre-gamed elsewhere and boarded this cruise drunk, they ooh-ed and aah-ed at birds on a dock in a marina. The rest of the cruise was about the same. At one point early on we were told that at sunset the ship would steer out of the bay and watch the beautiful colors of the setting sun over the Pacific. In reality, at sunset we got "near" the ocean (a couple of hundred yards away) and watched the sun set over the stone embankment of the bay, with a parking lot, public bathrooms, and dozens of people on shore between us and the sunset while 70's disco music played over the ship's speakers. Then we headed back to the marina, checked in on the bait dock where two workers were having dinner on lawn chairs under bright lights, and circled them slowly so we could watch them (and the sea lions) for a little while longer until our 90 minutes were up. The ship did in fact have a bar (which we were reminded of every 5-10 minutes throughout the cruise), and we did in fact watch the sun set while we were on this cruise. So if that sounds "good enough", Come Aboard!

I can’t say enough good things about our experiences with cruise San Diego. We first used them for our wedding rehearsal dinner, and five years later, people are still talking about the unforgettable experience. The staff went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, and their attention to detail truly made our event memorable. Fast forward to my husband’s 40th birthday party, and once again, cruise San Diego exceeded our expectations. We chose to celebrate with an 80s themed bash, and everyone couldn’t stop raving about the venue. The staff was incredibly responsive, nice, accommodating, and fun, making sure every guest had a fantastic time. Plus, the views were simply breathtaking. Thank you to the entire team at cruise san diego for consistently delivering exceptional service and helping us create lasting memories. Whether it’s a milestone birthday or a wedding rehearsal dinner, I highly recommend cruise san diego for an unforgettable experience!

What an awesome time we had on the Valentine’s Day sunset cruise! Everything was pretty easy to find and they had signs all over to direct us to the check in booth and where to line up. The staff was extremely friendly and professional and did a great job walking the ship making sure everyone was taken care of. The bartender was awesome and offered us alternative options since my girlfriend and I don’t drink. The only thing that I think would have made this perfect would be if we could have traded our free champagne ticket for another drink that was non alcoholic but I didn’t even ask if that was an option so it very well could be. Overall the trip was just what we had hoped for, maybe bring an extra jacket as it gets a bit chilly at night! Would definitely do this again!

It’s been two years since I wrote my last review and we got to enjoy a VIP experience on the Ohana yesterday for my husbands birthday and our annual trip back to reminisce our wedding activities. We can’t speak highly enough about this experience and crew! Everyone was sure to take care of us and we loved the view from the captains deck! We caught a great sunset, huge full moon, and a free sea world show! Thank you to everyone who has made this so special for us!

We did The Ohana for our Welcome Party the night before our wedding! It was absolutely perfect! Derwayne was our main point of contact prior to the event. He was very accomodating. We wanted to experience the boat before booking it but since we live in AZ, he was kind enough to welcome our Wedding Planner for a complimentary ride, and then when we visited in February, we were welcomed on board to check it out. It was a great experience even before the event happened. Our guests had an easy time finding because they posted signs for us. We had some guests concerned about the boat ride so we did a 30 min doc party and then 1.5 hours of cruising. We catered from Luna Grill and the boat made it easy for us to set the food up, providing us with a table. They had a bartender, which definitely was a big interest from our friends and family. Maybe too big of an interest considering there was qute a line and a lttle congested. However, once guests got their drink, they had plenty of space to choose to hangout, either the 1st or 2nd level. There was plenty of seating and guests also could easily stand. I created a playlist and was able to use the boats plug in to play. Captain John was great at accomodating us. It was the perfect opportunity for us to greet and then say goodbye to our guests before our wedding day! We definitely will be back to enjoy another ride and highly encourage everyone to consider it! We had 120 guests and it still...

We booked the entire Ohana for a 2 hr. sunset cruise for our wedding guests this past weekend. The booking process was excellent. Derwayne was super responsive. We had a lot of questions and he patiently answered them all. We wanted to serve our own food, we wanted to get picked up at the resort where we were staying, and we wanted to be able to play our own music. After hashing out all of the details, we got exactly what we asked for at a really competitive rate (we had never done this before so reached out to several companies).

We had about 120 people attend and it was an absolute blast. The weather was perfect and the boat ride was really smooth. Several guests were concerned about getting seasick but had no issues! This was a July event so the waters were really calm.

The bar was small but got the job done, even for such a large group. We had catered food and the Ohana came a little early so we could set up the spread on some tables for our guests to enjoy.

The crew was FANTASTIC. They were friendly and fun from the start. We had a few elderly guests and they were super accommodating as well (helping to get the wheelchair on etc.). We had an issue on the way back where all the spots to dock were taken up at our hotel (at no fault of Ohana's) but the crew handled it without giving the guests any sense of worry.

All in all, this was one of the highlights of...
