Unfortunately, I am writing my first negative review. Green Gardens is a new neighbor and we were excited to purchase beautiful looking plants and products from them. However, beware, that once you make your not inexpensive purchases they take no responsibility for whatever happens from then on. Especially distressing was the apparent run around and fake appeasement. Within 2 mos., a 150.00 plant in an approx. 75.00 pot went almost bare. With photos we went back to discuss when Assis. Mgr. Said " oh that is just shock, give it 2 more mos. and if not better " We'll take care of you".We were assured that how we cared for the plant was correct. Two mos. later again with photos, we returned. This time we were, questioned, accused and doubted for what we must have done wrong even though all of our other plants were doing well but eventually told " give it 6 more weeks". Upon return he said we could pick out something else. A week later after my spouse had a chance to come with me to choose a replacement, the manager now questioned and tried to blame us in a disrespectful tone. He then said " we will meet you halfway" which apparently meant, that we would purchase a new plant from them at no cost to them. We sadly declined and are still " shocked" by the whole experience. We live only two blocks away and told them to come take a look to no avail. We also noted inconsistencies from the new young staff member from the east coast who told us what to buy, including what pot and caring instructions, from that of the asst. mgr. and then the mgr.( who questioned the size of the pot) .We are not stupid nor dishonest and do not like being treated as so. Apparently, the mgr. does not understand how much business he could have gained from our...
Read moreThis is my favorite garden store! The staff is always so helpful and knowledgeable, and there are plants for every kind of garden. I especially love the fountains that are placed around the outside areas (and my kids do too!) There are flowers for flower beds... vegetables like lettuce and kale, I've seen mulberry tree/bushes, and plenty of air ferns of all sizes! There are indoor plants and lovely (sometimes rare/expensive) house plants... however I come for the succulents and cactus types... there are always so many things unique and cool looking ones here! Oh, and the statues!!! Everything from buddhas to saints. And there is an attached non-plant seasonal trinket and gift kind of room, I always look forward to seeing what theme they have going on in...
Read moreHighly recommend you quit shopping at Home Depot or Trader Joes to get your plants and soil. I have done that before, due to them sitting in cold refrigerators or draft areas you bring them home and half of them die within a week or two or three...save your money. Also forget about buying soil anywhere else, especially home depot. comes too acidic, burnt my plants and is filled with fly larva that then matures and you got fruit flies or regular flies EVERYWHERE in the house....never again. This nursery...gosh if I only had a big garden, I'd buy majority of what they got. Last time I spent $150 for a few pots a beautiful flowering plant and 2 bags of soil but let me tell you, all grows well and blooms fantastic and the...
