Sadly Large Loop road, South of Chess Club building is not good. Bathroom on that road has been closed for years, and Northern Bathroom at intersection becomes overly busy, many unhoused/homeless, and regularly dirty. Unhoused/homeless need alternative bathrooms, and SafeZone parking also! I came in the evening/night and it was very lonely and quiet. Generally beautiful area, lots of parking when road & parking lots open. Much picnic and rest areas, lots of paths and trails too!! Hope more help will come to this area soon, as it is so close to SO much residents...

It's a little off the foot traffic path but most importantly it is directly beneath the terminal path to San Diego International Airport. On a still day you can literally feel and hear the vortexies off the wings of the planes flying over head.
