The Drawing Room: ANNEX — Attraction in San Francisco

Amazing large art gallery right in the heart of the mission and run by people who really understand the community needs. There’s a lot of work and some big installations and many rooms in the back to explore. It’s all free to view and the art is for sale. It’s made possible by the wonderful building owner who offered cheap or free rent for a limited time, I guess until they find a new tenant to rent the space out at market rate. A generous offering to the community so whoever the building owner...

We went to see the climate change themed show in this space that is now operated by the Drawing Room folks. The wall on the left at this show had our favorite pieces by Creatingas1 (wood inlays with beautiful colors and gems in them) and then upstairs the model homeless tent City was moving, and the hanging boat piece was quite striking. Also while we were there the cello and piano and violin musical accompaniment was a real treat. Overall a lovely and varied gallery show...

This space is a great lil gallery to stumble upon. It’s street friendly gallery and vibrant murals are inviting and wonderful SF based art is displayed with pride. Very happy to have came upon The Drawing Room and connected with the artist running it. Stop by and check out some...
