Carlson Creek Vineyard, Scottsdale Tasting Room — Attraction in Scottsdale

Me and my girlfriend went here for the first time tonight. Neither of us had any idea what to expect as we both had never been wine tasting before, and we were blown away. We were served by Trish, and were amazed by not only her selection of wines but also their taste and her experience on the wines at hand. Trish was very welcoming and friendly and treated us as if we were good friends. She was very attentive and answered all of our questions without judgment, considering we were very new at this and were asking basic questions. Trish and Carlson Creek allowed us to experience wine in a way we could have never had otherwise. We started off started off quite opposed to reds, but at the end the 2017 Malbec was one of our favorites. Trish gave us many recommendations to try on our own and explained to us how to look for good wines. We could not have asked for a better experience in something that seemed so out of reach. Stumbled upon this place when I first went to Phoenix for my bachelor party in October '23 and it was amazing. Stopped by again when I went with my wife just last week because we both love wine and I must say it was just as good. Mark & Marcus (I hope I spelled ya'lls names right) are simply amazing! They're VERY knowledgeable about all things wine, very friendly and know a lot about everything. They'll spark a convo with you about any topic. They really make the place feel extra fun and comfy.
