Seaside Rentals — Hotel in Seaside Park

I have been going to Seaside Park, NJ annually for over 30 years with my family and a large group of friends from Connecticut. We have stayed at several different motels but 8 years ago we discovered Seaside Best Rental's Oceanview Terrace and we never looked back! This was the 8th year we've stayed at this location and my family has stayed in 5 different rooms styles, a motel style room, a 2 bedroom with a kitchenette and a 1 bedroom with a kitchenette. The rooms are always well taken care of, clean and all have A/C and most have ceiling fans too. We do bring our own blanket, pillows and a throw rug for sandy feet but only because we want our room a little more like home. This year we had over 60 in our group and the managers, Stu and Maureen are so pleasant to deal with. They are very welcoming and accommodating to our group and are always on site for assistance and recommendations. Mike the maintenance man has been there for years, and he too is always available if you need anything. Fresh towels, t.p. and an extra garbage bag are delivered to your room daily. The pool is always immaculate, the grounds are blown off daily, and garbage cans emptied. They upper deck is so peaceful and a great gathering spot for happy hour! There are tables with umbrellas and chairs, and the best part is the fantastic view of the ocean. Once you park your car you don't have to drive the entire time you are there. There are plenty of great restaurants within walking distance and the boardwalk with plenty of food and activities starts right across the street. The beach is a 2-minute walk directly across the street and your stay includes beach passes (a deposit for the pass is required but you get it back when you return it at the end of your stay). The beach is gorgeous and that is also very well maintained. The entire staff goes above and beyond to make your trip great. Seaside Best Rentals is the only spot we will stay at and you should too. This is Seaside's best kept secret. Since I was a kid, I have visited Ocean Terrace Condominiums (aka Seaside Best Rentals 1709 North Ocean Ave, Seaside Park). My aunt used to bring my cousins and me to Ocean Terrace Condos as part of Camp TiTi, our pretend family Camp. Even though it was pretend, Auntie would outfit us in matching Camp t-shirts.

Maureen is the owner and it shows. Maureen has the cleanest rooms in the entire area. There is no mold smell as you would find in most Jersey Shore accomodations. The location is exceptional!!!!!! Ocean Terrace Condominiums is literally across the street from the beach. If you forget something you can just run back to the room. You can get up from your beach towel and walk a few steps to the Sawmill for huge pizza or in the morning go to Sunset Pavillion for breakfast. In the late afternoon, go to their clean pool. At night, you sit upstairs on the terrace and people-watch to a cool breeze and a game of Uno.

Over the years, we have stayed in practically every unit on every floor of the main lodging building. If you like the party life, it is close enough by walking onto the Seaside Heights boardwalk across the street and 1/2 block.

Most rooms, even the 1 bedrooms with kitchenette sleep 4. They have a 1 bedroom that sleeps 6 and a 2 bedroom that also sleeps 6. In the rooms in the other building (I've never stayed there) they have 3 bedrooms.

From Ocean Terrace Condominiums you can walk two blocks away to Park Bakery for tender and fluffy doughnuts. Then rent a 6-person Surrey at the Shore & More. For lunch or dinner remember to try the best pulled pork sandwich at the Chop Shop. In the evening, you can drive 5 minutes or (bike 10 minutes) to your reserved spot at Music Man Singing Ice Cream Shoppe Show. No matter what you do for fun, at bedtime you return to your clean, quiet, family style accomodations at Ocean Terrace...

This is our 2nd year staying here for the 4th of July week. It’s right across from the beach and boardwalk. This is not a high class hotel so know that before you book. This a at home mom and pop upscale comfortable clean motel where you feel like you are family. The owners are like your parents/grandparents with hardworking people who take care of the rooms and your needs. You will be treated like family and everyone else around the grounds will treat you like family. You will feel at home here. No fights. No b/s. Just enjoy yourself right across from the beach. The strip may be noisy with cars and rif raft but that has nothing to do with the owners or this hotel. Plenty of police presence so it’s nice and safe also.
