American Music — Attraction in Seattle

*Updated 9-8-2023 Came here on my way to the music studio to get out of the routine and browse around for a minute. I always like to check out the glass case on the right when you walk in. After checking out some stuff and pushing some buttons, I had a great conversation with Cami and Matt. They have helped me out plenty before and the equipment I bought here is used currently in my setup. My slow memory came back to me and I realized I needed some midi stuff. Matt was quick to guide me to the tool and walked out of the store with a very important piece of equipment to continue building my machine. Cheers!

Came here to pick up a synthesizer (Korg Minilogue XD Module) and Jacob helped me out with all my needs. He was nice enough to show me a few other products that I was interested in and saved me some money by suggesting that I buy things I needed in a bundle. Called three days before to make sure I could come up from Tacoma to look at amps and try out a couple. Not to play everything. Got there. Say oh no can’t let you look. But appointments only to play. Yes. That’s why I called before and was told I could. Asked about an amp sitting out and some helper was useless. I get the COVID precautions. Not an issue. But serious man, put something else on the website other than suggesting it’s business as usual with some precautions. Simply not true. Do better. Especially for those of us who make plans, call you ahead and drive an hour. COVID isn’t an excuse for lack of professionalism.

Finally, they tell you to look online at the inventory. But have you looked at your own site? You have more blank pages or images coming than anything. Seriously, don’t tell people they can look online when there are hardly any pics of stuff. Buy online at guitar center or sweetwater. Much less...

I purchased a 68’ twin reverb fender amp from American Music and the gentleman with long hair who helped me pick it up was very friendly and helpful. He went out of his way to make sure everything went smoothly. I ended up having to return the amp though on my return the staff could not have been more helpful and understanding. The tall gentleman with short black hair kindly gave me the option to switch the amp for another similar amp of a higher price, given the later had a minor scratch mark. Otherwise the amp was in great condition. It was a very kind gesture by the gentleman and I now have an amp carrying sentimental value that landed in my arms by chance.
