My review & reason for only giving 4 stars: So, today was my first time coming in here. When I first walked in I thought it was extremely cool looking on the inside, they had a wide variety of different things; whether that be jewerly, clothing, toys, furniture, you name it.
Here's the thing though; I don't live in Seattle/Fremont but I do live in WA state. When I looked at the prices of different items I was interested in I was a little baffled at the prices & how high they were compared to other stores where Im from. Some of the items weren't even vintage & were priced up. Some of the items for sale (mostly the jewelry) were also clearly bought from Shein or other stores where you can buy them much much less online. For example: just an empty Pokemon card tin was $7. Or a globe that was $1,000+ Multiple pieces for jewerly were at least $10+ and some were all the same clearly from online and not small business made. And the set of blue bowls in one of the photos costed over $100. 😬
That's just such an unreasonable price.
And hey, I understand that businesses have to make money somehow & some things were understandably priced. And I know what some of you are thinking while reading this: "If you don't like the prices then just don't shop there" But, it sucked bc it was way way too over priced which really bummed me out because I was looking forward to buying stuff I saw! Heck most of the stuff in there was extremely cool but what stopped me from getting stuff was the prices.
Other than the prices the staff was very polite, it was clean, and like I said before they had a WIDE variety of things. Please check this place out if you're coming through here, love vintage/antiques & wanting to spend...
Read moreCool vintage mall but over the years I have seen the selection vary wildly. I remember walking out of here with something every time I went, but now I don't buy anything. Prices are all over the place, but generally high for what some things are. I get the feeling that a lot of the booths here are people that buy things from Goodwill and raise the price to silly amounts. Quick eBay searches yield the same or similar items for less, even with shipping. I guess if there's a piece that really speaks to you, you don't mind paying extra. But, I haven't found many deals here.
It's a cool selection either way and each booth is fun to look at. They have a fantastic print and poster selection, with frames! Also I have found good trinkets in the trinket trays across from the register. Very nice new and used jewelry selection, especially quirky stuff. If you see something you like, buy it because items can sell fast.
If you have a larger bag you will need to check it at the register, and sometimes it's annoying to wait in line to do so. More than half of the store is not handicap accessible, because it can only be accessed via stairs (the main area with the prints and a loft in the...
Read moreThis place is a treasure trove. Very easy to get lost in here digging around. Fremont is a cool place with lots of cool, hidden shops. I was wandering around town and one of the shops recommended I come check this place out.
This is a fun place to visit if you're in Fremont. And you could easily spend a few hours in here. Prices are also decent, and you can find some deals if you look around. I saw a few things I will buy on my next visit.
There is a fair amount of clothing and random knickknacks. They also have a decent record collection and I’m sure there are some hidden gems in there. There were a couple soul albums I had my eye on. I also really liked the collection of prints they have available. They had a lot of patent prints that would look good in my apartment. Other than that, they have the typical collection of clothes and furniture you find in every flea market. You should come here with a friend and spend some time looking around. There are two entrances, one off of the main street that is a bit hidden, and one down the...
