I started going for sugaring (It's amazing - D you're magical) but broaden my skincare routine to include the Jet Peel & Hydro Facial. The Jet Peel is like a pressure wash for your face! It removes all the crud, while leaving your face firm, moisturized, and fresh - Laura will even let you touch it to feel the difference! All the current stress (e.g., current events, politics, work, COVID) had left me a bit haggard. I was a sceptic at first, but the after effects has been a godsend. Guys - If you want to feel like Steve Rogers after he emerges from the super soldier serum treatment as Captain America - This is IT!

History: I stumbled on this business when I first moved to Seattle six years ago and have been a regular since. The people are phenomenal, polite, fun, and professional. The atmosphere is relaxed and very welcoming by all of the staff that works there.

Edited: I realized after a week — they didn’t actually take out the hairs at the root so everything grew back the next week (I’m guessing this is why it hurt less) Super super nice people but I sat in a 1 hour sugaring session for a rather painful shave?

It sounds like from the reviews the owner is great though. I got someone else from their team who was brand new. (And again super nice!!!)

They have a really cute room that likes a bit more like a bedroom with nice soothing oils. I think they use a slightly different technique. It took a bit longer but also hurt less so could be extra good for folks who find the typical sugaring process...

When I didn’t get the outcome I desired and quietly voiced it, I was made to feel it was my fault for my poor skin care routine at home.  My request for less aggressiveness when applying the sugar (to minimize pain) were casually dismissed and I was criticized for being a client with any sort of expectation for the outcome. Though I've been going here for over a decade before this recent experience (now new ownership and estheticians), I wouldn't go here again.
