This is an excellent foot reflexology studio. I had a weekly reflexology habit at the last city I lived in and had been looking for a great place in Seattle for two years after I moved. Two Smiling Feet fits the bill. The place is spotless, your are seated quickly with or without an appointment, the studio noise level is kept to a minimum, and the staff are hospitable and highly skilled. I continue to be impressed by the teamwork they demonstrate.
For the uninitiated this studio differs from typical Western massage studios. There will be peaceful piano music in the background but the similarities end there. You will be invited into a quiet room with the lights dimmed. There will be other clients present but you and they will remain clothed. Remove your foot wear after being seated, roll up your pant legs to prepare for the foot soak and relax back into the recliner. Your reflexologist will greet you and inquire as to what your preferences are and what type of service you want that day. Traditionally, firm pressure is used but do tell your reflexologist if you want a lighter pressure. I always ask for 30 minutes of footwork and 30 minutes of bodywork which runs between $40-45 depending on the seniority of the practitioner.
Cash is preferred because of the fees debit and credit card companies charge small business. DO tip generously as you're not gonna find a better value for the price anywhere on...
Read moreI have been to this location twice and have had great experiences both times. Their prices increased slightly since the first time I went, but $60 for a 75 min massage is still a great value. Some things I like: my masseuses do not talk amongst themselves when I come here, which adds to a very peaceful atmosphere. although the massage beds are in a shared space for the most part, if you are there for a full body massage they have an enclosed area so you aren't exposed. they will work with however many items of clothing you are comfortable taking off. Very professional overall. they ask you what amount of pressure you want. My guy was huffing and puffing because I said medium-hard. they do the full amount of time you paid for. If you pay for 75 minutes, they aren't cutting you off 10 minutes early.
Some things to note so your expectations are realistic: they only take cash. call ahead. They can sometimes do walk ins, but you run the risk they will be booked when you get there and you'll have to wait. the massage beds are in a shared space. I believe this is one of the reasons their costs are so low, so I don't mind. I have only had male masseuses here. Not sure if they have females ones. they follow a general layout for their massages, working through a series of moves on different body parts, as opposed to focusing on...
