he gelato here is fantastic, with a nice variety of flavors, but unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted by the staff. I arrived at 9:51 PM, placed my order, and was told they closed at 10, which was fine. However, right at 10:00, the employee announced that the store was closing. When someone asked if we needed to leave, she responded in a passive-aggressive manner, saying, "Well, it’s 10, and legally I can’t tell you to leave," implying that we should go, even though we were still finishing our gelato.
To make matters worse, she mentioned she had been working for 10 hours without a lunch break, which I understand can be frustrating. I sympathize with long shifts, but it’s still no excuse to direct that stress at customers. I've worked in customer service, so I get how tiring it can be, but the way it was said left a bad taste—it's not about what was said, but the attitude behind it.
Great gelato, but the service needs improvement, especially when dealing with customers at the end of a long shift. s great. There's no need to take out stress on customers—there are better ways to handle it.

Read moreI don’t see why this place gets all the hype, it’s probably just because it’s pink and is the only ice cream place in Fremont.
There was one lone worker who seemed deeply annoyed that we were there. I don’t even ask for samples or anything, I just always quickly pick a flavor and order. My friend asked for a waffle cone, and she put the gelato in a cup and then begrudgingly attempted to stick the cone on top. I’ve worked many a year in retail / customer service, and I have never felt inclined to be so grouchy to innocuous customers who haven’t done anything wrong.
$6 for a “small” in a cup seems like a gross overpricing. Obviously, it’s because it’s branded as gelato, not that plebeian American ice cream! The two flavors I chose were not particularly strong or distinctive at all.
I understand that margins can be thin, and that price increases can do magic for how much you earn per each sale. But this place is ridiculous to think that customers won’t start noticing it. Demand elasticity starts to wear thin when you’re selling frivolous barely-flavored cream in a cup for 6 smackers. The Italians are rolling in...
Read moreWent there tonight and had to write a review right away. I'd like to start with I know people have bad days but her attitude was just so blatantly rude.
Walked in with my sister and husband to grab some gelato and before we walked in we saw that the the lady working was on the phone. She hung up when we walked in and we greeted her.
First time here and we're looking around figuring out what we wanted. We found one that we liked called staci something and we couldn't pronounce it because it was some fancy name for the ice cream.
She rolled her eyes and when we confirmed with her we wanted two of the same ones she was so annoyed and rolled her eyes again. No communication with us. We would say something and she stayed silent. Im in customer service and understand how important it is especially in these dark qns depressing times.
We all can hate our jobs sometimes but be happy that you have one during these times and whatever opinion you may have about others, don't let it affect your job and their customers. Id hope its not a reflection...
