The Original Selfie Museum in Seattle offers a unique and entertaining experience, especially for those who love snapping photos.

For the Gram:

Creative Backdrops Galore: This museum boasts a vast collection of creative and colorful backdrops. From giant donut walls and ball pits to trippy infinity mirrors and neon lighting displays, there are endless photo opportunities to capture your most Instagrammable moments.

Interactive Installations: The museum goes beyond static backdrops. Some installations are interactive, allowing you to play with props and create dynamic and engaging photos. This keeps things interesting and adds a layer of fun to the experience.

All-Day Access: Your admission ticket grants you access to the museum for the entire day. This allows you to explore all the exhibits at your own pace, take as many photos as you like, and experiment with different poses and angles.

Room for Improvement:

Limited Appeal for Non-Photographers: If you're not particularly into taking photos, the museum might not hold your interest for long. The focus is heavily on creating social media content, and there's not much else in terms of exhibits or displays.

Potentially Pricey: Admission prices can add up, especially for families. While the experience can be fun, the overall cost might not justify the value for everyone.

Can Get Crowded: The museum's popularity can lead to crowded spaces, especially during peak hours. This can make it challenging to capture photos without other people in the frame and might affect the overall enjoyment.

Overall:

The Original Selfie Museum in Seattle is a fun and trendy spot for photo enthusiasts. The creative backdrops, interactive installations, and all-day access make it a great place to unleash your inner photographer. However, the limited appeal for non-photography lovers, potentially high cost, and potential for crowds prevent it from reaching a perfect score.

Who Might Enjoy It: Social media enthusiasts and content creators looking for unique photo opportunities. Groups of friends or families who enjoy taking silly pictures together. People who appreciate interactive and immersive experiences.

Who Might Want to Look Elsewhere: Those who are not interested in taking photos and prefer more traditional museum experiences. Travelers on a tight budget who might find the admission cost excessive. People who dislike crowded spaces and prefer a more...

The Selfie Museum in downtown Seattle offers a unique and vibrant experience for those seeking fun and creative photo opportunities. I visited this museum last year with my fiancee for my birthday, and we thoroughly enjoyed our time there. We even captured some memorable shots that made it onto our wedding website.

The museum provides a range of settings and lighting options, allowing visitors to take unique and exciting pictures. The bright and colorful backdrops create a lively atmosphere, perfect for capturing eye-catching images. We had a blast exploring the various themed areas and getting creative with our poses and expressions.

One aspect to keep in mind is that the novelty of the experience can wear off after going through all the different areas. While the initial excitement was fantastic, it is essential to manage expectations as some spaces may feel repetitive or less captivating once you have explored them all. However, this did not significantly detract from our overall enjoyment.

The staff at The Selfie Museum were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our visit was pleasant. They were available to provide guidance and assistance when needed, creating a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The museum itself is well-maintained, and the exhibits are carefully curated to offer a visually appealing and interactive experience.

If you're looking for a place to capture fun and memorable pictures, The Selfie Museum is a great choice. It's an excellent destination for celebrations, outings with friends, or creating unique content for special occasions. Just be mindful that the experience might feel repetitive after exploring all the available areas. Nonetheless, the museum's bright, colorful, and fun ambiance makes it a...

We attended last night. My niece is visiting from Florida so we were at Pike Place market doing touristy stuff. It was fun for what it was. Being a photographer I really wish I brought my nicer camera with a wide angle lens.. A must for Photographers with models if you want something quirky.

Going on a weekday evening, it was VERY quiet so highly recommend that if you want to avoid crowds.

Staff downstairs was really nice and personable. She was pleasant to speak to while checking in. Upstairs the woman at the counter was more reserved and quiet. No negative experience with her, just not as memorable as the woman staff member checking us in.

Wasn't really worth the $29 per person to get in IMO. The two levels were small rooms and I felt like for the price it would have been twice as big. That's why I docked a star. Would have docked a half if google would let me. I probably wouldn't go again for the price unless they expanded.

No AC so it was stuffy. Not sure about the cleaning protocols. We found someone's retainer in the washing machine (thus docking another star) so it made me question the frequency of checking their sections. Could have just been a recent visitor, but the other group in there with us said it didn't belong to them. It didn't 'smell' like there was regular cleaning in place. Although, they could use a non scented/non chemical cleaner like I do with my newborn props. That's why I said unsure. I didn't ask.

They did have hand sanitizer at the counters and have mask protocols for those not vaccinated or who were vaccinated and choose to still wear a masks. My niece and I were vaccinated so we were able to walk...
