The Forum is the name of the sprawling shopping center off of IH 35 near Hwy 1604. It is responsible for leasing of space & management of property. From a user standpoint & not knowing the actual stats, they are doing a wonderful job. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and well maintained. Seems occupancy fill rate is high for so many brick & mortar buildings. The Forum is usually quick in filling vacancies with appealing shopping choices. A few spaces though have remained vacant for quite some time. There is a good mix & variety as to type of stores in the shopping Center to satisfy most customers. A movie theater is not in the Forum but nearby just off of Pat Booker Rd. Some of the shops/restaurants we have patronized many times over the years have been Sea Island, Thai Spice, the Outback, IHOP, Party Time, Home Depot, & Best Buy. For some reason we tried Genghis Khan, Panda Express & Freddie's but not completely satisfied & have not returned. Three other well known restaurants located in the Forum we haven eaten there infrequently a number of times but they cannot depend on our support to succeed. The Forum has many street and internal signs promoting shops within the center but there is no uniform standardization or sense of direction. . Some of the signs seem to be misplaced. Our guests from Germany ask to be brought to the Forum for shopping and find what they seek. Not my type of place to shop in hot weather. Prefer a mall or a center that is not continuous and affords sitting and public restroom accomodations. It is, however, one of the nicer uncovered shopping centers in San Antonio. Little has changed in shops we patronize. We have added Spectrum, 375 Social Kitchen, & LaMadaleine's French Bakery. All fine stores &...
Read moreI visited this location on the recommendation of a friend. The first time I came here the location was not open for business yet.
The restaurant as my friend described it is the "Freebirds of Greek Food" you basically build your bowl or wrap as you go down the line..
The girl working at the line recommended I get the bowl and add pita bread to it at the end, because you get more. So thats what I did.
You choose your meat (chicken, pork and gyro),salad, dressing, rice, veggies, taziki, feta, cucumbers, sauces ect.. The pita bread is fresh baked when you order, they take the dough, insert it into the oven and about a minute later a fresh pita pocket comes out.
The soda bar featured organic sodas and "pink drink" prickly pear.
My food had good flavor.. they tell you its unlimited toppings so I asked them to pile on the feta cheese and they did. I asked for extra onion, & extra taziki. It was nice to get everything exactly how I wanted it.
Over all for my first visit the experience was good, the food was fresh and had good flavor. Portion sizes on the bowl were good. Prices were fair, service was good. I will definitely be...
Read moreThe Forum at Olympia Parkway is one of our favorite family go-to spots when we want to get out and enjoy some shopping fun. I really love the variety of stores here—everything from Ross (where you can find the most random but fun daily items like a giant wine glass!) to Target, Hobby Lobby, Bath & Body Works, and even Starbucks for a quick pick-me-up. There’s truly something for everyone.
The selection is great, and I like that you can knock out errands or just browse for fun, all in one place. It’s convenient and has a little bit of everything.
The only thing to be aware of is the driving—unfortunately, many drivers in the area don’t seem to fully understand how a four-way stop works. There are several intersections throughout the Forum, so just be cautious and patient when navigating the parking lots.
Other than that, this place is awesome and always our top choice for a casual outing with plenty of...
