Kokee Tea — Restaurant in Severn

Kokee Tea is a nice spot for boba drinks with a wide range of customisations—flavour choices, sweetness levels, ice options, and different types of boba. However, one major downside is the excessive ice, especially in slushy-based drinks.

I tried the Pina Colada—the flavour was refreshing, but half the cup was just ice, which really diluted the experience. I recommend requesting no ice or light ice to enjoy the drink better.

The person preparing my drink just did not have decent customer service. I ordered one drink, and she served me a different drink. No big deal, but she never acknowledged that she made the mistake and seemed irritated that I asked her to make the correct drink. She then told me that it would cost me an additional $.50. Again, not a big deal but I didn't find that it was reasonable for her to want me to swipe my cc for $.50. I shared that with her and she ignored me. I love bubble tea, so seeing this place in the mall I just had to try some. I ordered two drinks and then a few minutes later, my husband told me I ordered the wrong one. The cashier said she could take the wrong one and make a new one. I said it was ok, I'll just drink it later. I ordered a Taro, Coconut, and Strawberry Milk Bubble Tea. All were very delicious. Can't wait to try the Thai tea. Always a big favorite in my book.
