For first-time travelers, we were not aware of the issue getting to this place. We were not made aware of the bus or trains that went from Anchorage airport to this Cruise Ship Terminal.

For other first time travelers, we took a bus ($2.00 an exact change) to downtown Anchorage from the airport to a tour bus ($75 per person) to drive the 2.5 hrs to Seward Cruise Ship Terminal to get to our cruise ship. We found this option in the airport when we landed in Anchorage and had to wait for our lost luggage. The other option that is advertised is the train ($800 per person and it only leaves 6 am and in the afternoon) that would’ve taken like 6 hours to get to the ship terminal and/or taxi/lift/uber which is almost $300 for the 2.5hr ride.

I think the cruise should’ve told us about the options to get to the ship terminal or at least made us aware. We did do our research but from family and friends accounts, we were under the impression that there was a bus that was supposed to pick us up from the airport in Anchorage and take us to the cruise ship...

Ended an awesome cruise here.. what an experience!! Can't say enough about the infrastructure related to the tourist industry here.. they got your back.. went from here to Anchorage for flight home .. beatiful bus ride ..they took our luggage and forwarded it to the convention center, so we didn't have to end the trip .. we had another awesome day in Anchorage.. then they shuttled us to the airport .. good people at every step, they definitely helped insure we got the most of our visit to this incredible place.. Thank you to all who served us ..we will...

The town of Seward was our last stop of our Alaska cruise before going on our land portion of the cruise. Overall, this is a cute little town, but not much to offer for the time that we had to visit. The Sea Life Center was all right, but nothing to make a special trip of for a day. We a ton of time to kill before our Celebrity Cruise continued to Girdwood. The we waited until 1130 for the Seward Brewery to open, which was quite nice. The bartender gave some good in site to the area as she had several seasons at...

If you see a cruise ship in Seward then it's most likely docked at the Seward Cruise Ship Terminal. Sadly you can't get too close, but you can get some great pictures of these cruise ships from almost any direction. If you're lucky enough to be on the cruise ship then hop off the ship for a while and take a glacier cruise before it's too late! If glaciers aren't your thing then maybe you'll see some fresh halibut while walking around the small boat harbor. Enjoy your stay in Seward!

Very small cruise terminal. I believe they use it for disembarkations only. We got off from our 7 night cruise here. Walked off the ship and retrieved our luggage in the terminal. There were lots of staff to direct passengers to their designated vans, buses, or tours. A tour booth, coffee and snack bar and restrooms were also in the terminal. Nearest airport/city is 3 hours away in Anchorage. If you don’t have transportation, your cruise staff can assist you. Some FYIs.
