Make sure you bring sunglasses in with you to this movie theater!!! Once the movie is done, you're stepping outside from a dark room into a sunny, high altitude environment; so you'll fry your eyes if you don't bring sunglasses. The theater itself is pretty nice. The staff could've been more friendly, and the movie I saw here was really quiet. I thought someone would say something to the staff (maybe they did); either way it was too quiet but I didn't want to miss any part of the movie so I didn't want to ask to have them up the volume.

Staying in Breckenridge for the long weekend, my wife and I wanted to see a movie and this theater was the closest. It’s a small, old theater but sold Friday night tickets for $10. They have all the usual overpriced concessions. The theater space isn’t fancy but the seats weren’t horrible. There’s only one restroom in the front of the theater.

Nice and clean. Not to busy when me and my wife went. The ticket prices and concessions were reasonable. Good popcorn, and the Diet Pepsi mix was on spot. Movie picture and sound was very good, and seating was comfortable.

Staff are great, all just local people looking to make a good living. Five stars for them.

I would choose to use negative ratings, but I believe corporate would use that against the staff, and not take responsibility for facilities/ Not being able to use or allow your staff to use QR or online tickets is diabolical. The nearly half foot tall sewer obtrusion in the parking lot scraped the bottom of my car. Unless that is county or town property (which even then, you should be petitioning to fix) The building facilities are disintegrating and I do want to claim that it eventually will become a hazard and that I do not trust the management nor facility operators to be considering fire safety and building safety. I do not blame the employees, I blame Mitchell Theaters. , Your corporation is the only one in the county that isn't a local bougie theatre that shows mainstream films, I know that the profit margin is high enough to provide renovations and at least provide the customer with a sense of maintained care. Torn seats, ripped up flooring, again, a lack of modern technology; This isn't just an insult to the local community, but also a detriment to your staff. They deserve facilities that can keep up with the demands of 21st century technology and audiences. Surface level appearance in management only allows me the inference that other systems are not up to standard as well. Look, you are our local theater, we have gone here for decades, but its time to make those decades of wear and tear and potential hazards disappear. Stop neglecting Summit County's Cinema 8, give your customers safe, hospitable theatres and facilities, and most importantly insure the safety and dignity of a modernized theatre...

Wonderful Mountain Town venue with tons of seating. I really hope they upgrade the seats and eventually put in a large format display like Dolby Cinema, IMAX or RPX. It would be really helpful if they stayed in their listings which theater was showing in so that you could at least see it on the larger display. Popcorn and soda are not really my thing but it seems to be popular. The interior could really use a decorator and refresh. A few times they have at either issues with the bulbs or not pulling the lens properly to make it crisp but overall a great spot and I feel lucky that we have a multiplex so close. Locals nights tickets are quite reasonable and MoviePass is a steal. The automated teller systems are a mess and do not even work when someone is not at the register. It would be really helpful if these were available at all times. They also have a small arcade which does not see much use. I would really love to help this theater transition to the Future and adapt. I have been to the theatrer at least 50 times and have never seen it dirty or sticky but I may have just been lucky and normally sit in the first three rows of the stadium...

I showed up at 10:25 for a 10:05 movie. Apparently their policy is 15 minutes (the length of an average preview) A customer was walking outside as I walked in. I had no idea the door was locked. The manager, who was not rude at all, he was just doing his "job," but was very very young, refused me despite offering to pay and the fact I was already inside. The only reason I went to super 8, on a work trip, as a tax payer, was to see a movie and relax before work tomorrow... I explained this; I'm sure the kid cared; but maybe he's too young to interpret context. I was in the building with money in hand at 10:25!!!! This wasn't riff raff, this was a guy already inside, trying to pay, trying to unwind before work... If you have a movie scheduled where people are still leaving at 10:25 with the door open and want to be "soup nazis" from Seinfeld about timing maybe don't time things so closely or hire/train a manager mature enough to interpret context. I've been here before and everything was great, I would really appreciate an adult contacting me to resolve this as every kid in there was about...
